Tried searching for a +4timing key install and couldnt find it. Just one on the plate install. Can someone tell me how to do this and then i will put up pics on my install. Ive got the left side taken apart except for the housing pulled. Was waiting on tips first.-Dan

THIS has some info on pulling and installing a flywheel (about half-way down), and it discusses the +4 key. I have not read it for a while, so I hope it contains the information I think it does...

The +4 keys work good. i`m happy with mine. if you can afford the plate you should go that route. dont get me wrong the key is good but with the plate you can play with the timing to see what your shee likes.

Hey mdhc500, fuck them worms lol. +4 Key 4LIFE

Don't use a degree key, use a timing plate. Spend the extra 30 dollars and save yourself all the headaches. Some people have had good luck with degree keys, but I personally wouldnt recommend it. The degree key will take place of the stock timing key that holds the flywheel in place on the crankshaft.

Where does the key go on the bike

the key goes in the key slot. usually on the handlebars..

kidding man. the timing key goes where the stock key goes on the stator side of the crank under the flywheel. youre gonna need a flywheel puller whether you run a key or the plate..

personally, i would run the plate.

Definately run the plate if you can. BUT........

The key will work without a doubt. And many here have tested and tried the key.

The plate is adjustable, and is flawless.

Good luck

And yes, a can of worms is al over the place, but that's cool.
