FireHead Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Spyder grips baby..mine are three years old...still soft and like new... Which adult shop did you get those from? Quote
pinned247 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Thinkin about duct taping some marshmallow's to the bars to see how that works. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I also noticed my spiders last a long time and they still look new Quote
hubmonkey Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 ODI Ruffian Lock-ons... There are no better grips. Hub Quote
projectbanshee33 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Used Oury when I was racing mountain bikes and now have them on everything that has handlebars. The thicker style grip seems to help with fatigue. Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 I have been using the new Death Grips that you can buy from RMATV. They are the best grips I have used in a very long time. +1 and unique Quote
hyperlite33 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Another one for spiders...that's one of the first things I get when getting a new bike! Quote
jbooker82 Posted August 29, 2008 Report Posted August 29, 2008 Oury all the way. Rubber is so soft it sticks to your gloves. Feels like you rubber cemented your gloves to the grips. Quote
2strokespirit Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) I use the very cheap sponge bicycle grips, they stick to my gloves and they are the MOST comfortable grips ever, they are tough and the cheapest also. One thing I noticed with them, they take out a lot of arm pump and take out all the vibration, I am serious guys, just go and try them out, they are like $2 a pair. I used all the types in the world, now these won't last that long, but they are so cheap, I buy 4 pairs at a time, my last ones lasted a year!! I would actually call this a great mod, which can "almost" do the same thing as an anti vibe stem, depending hoe thick of a sponge grip you are buying... I just love these... When I told my friend to use them, he started laughing at me, now he is addicted to them, after realising I was serious.. Edited August 30, 2008 by 2strokespirit Quote
GrMeyer Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Best are the Pro Taper pillow tops...nuff said! +1 have them on both my banshee and raptor Quote
raptor 660 r Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 OURY hands down thick and VERY soft and last a long time and they r only $10 to boot Quote
differentstrokes Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Oury's make a nice grip for casual riding, but if you do any competitive racing you will regret the fatter grips due to the major arm pump they cause. :ermm: Quote
