I need a tire that will hook and launch on a moist hard pack dirt track, and slide around a barrel at high speed. The four strokes use anything from hoosiers to turf tamers to holeshots. I am hesitant to follow their lead because of the power delivery. What are your experiences and suggestions.

my cousins stockers (dunlops) hooked up better in sand and beat me in some drags with just pipes and pods and my shee has advanced timing, pods, pipes, porting, milled head, reeds, etc....kinda embarsing

i personally enjoyed my turftamers on hard pack. i have the square style bandits up front, and that really helped me with cornering as comapred to the round style front tires.

the only other tires i have run are the bandit rear-not impressed at all, the spin way to much

and the stock tires-spin way to much but slide well

its not much info, but hope it helps
