  10. I own the new suzuki, as well as a mildly modded shee. As far as being faster than the shee, no. Will it keep up with a brand new yfz?? Yes. My ltr has the cherry bomb, the yfz has lid removed and baffle out. Dead even, time after time. Will it keep up with an 06 trx with the full hrc kit?? No......the trx has a higher rev limit, and a full header and cam.......would the ltr keep up with the same mods?? probably.....well just have to wait and see. That is all in open fields. From drag racing to laps around the edges. The bansee beats all of them, but the trx with hrc kit gives it a little bit of a run. On a track is a different story. The handling is top notch no doubt. Where I could do 4-5 laps on the banshee on our track, I can now do 10-12 with the new suzuki. NO arm pump. Just point and shoot. Predictable, planted and stable. Anyone that saw one coming in last on the track must have been watching a poor rider. The yfz and trx do not compare in stock form at all suspension wise. The banshee is definitely one of a kind!!! But, to be honest, hasnt seen much time out since the suzuki arrived.

  12. vwvortex.com Is probably the nucleus of the Vw scene. The forum is very active and there is unlimited information for everything volkswagen.......everything. Good Luck Monk
  13. Basically it changes the position of the motor related to the wheelbase. It is as if you are moving the motor back a half an inch......"to better balance" the machine. I say a half inch because...... Say you had +2+1 arms, and a -1 swinger, you would be "moving" the motor back an inch. If that made any sense at all.....I'm sure someone will chime in with a truly sceintific answer for you soon. Good Luck.
  14. I have one out of a 97.....Make an offer.

  18. I've really been giving it some serious consideration.......... The suspensioin on my shee is basically as good as it can get.........I mean, I could get an outlaw front setup......but will it be as good or better than a fully suspended yfz450?? Why not buy a frame........and build a roller......and stick my shee motor in there??? How much would you need.......5 6 grand?? Would you use the 450 radiator......or fab up something for the shee's radiator?? What about exhaust?? Would it interfere with the 450's rad??? There are a bunch of things to work out I know.....But I am really considering it for this winters project. Anyone want a shee roller.......or some elka's????
  19. Anyone ever think of.....or seen a shee motor in a yfz frame?? Thoughts?? Opinions?? Monk
  20. I use 80wt bel-ray gear saver.......a liter and a half...... good luck
  21. I dont kow if you got the answer to your question or not yet, but I have the same setup except my stem is only +1.....anyway. My clamp is a Lonestar clamp....it is clearly engraved right into the front of it. I have not heard of other manufacturers offering thier own anti-vibe clamp for a lonestar stem. If you still need that measurement, I can go out and measure may stem and clamp. Good luck man, Monk

  25. That video definitely was not staged. I have the dvd right in front of me. It is off of a Steve-O video.......the guy from jackass and wildboys on mtv. He's some dude thats trying to impress steve-o and his producer.....they get kicked out of the bar that they were in, and the kid is all sorts of wasted........he goes outside and does a whole bunch of stupid shit that you see in the video I forget what city they are in........ He beat that guy pretty fucking bad...........real bad............the crazy thing is that the guy GOT UP.......... I just wanted to say that that video is definitely legit.....not staged at all
