I actually remeber seeing a couple Raptors at Little Sahara that were built up. They ran pretty good. After all, they are still Yamaha's!

I just got one and I noticed that there is a big pin on the end of it. How is this thing supposed to mount?

I bought some used A-Arms and on one of them the stud that goes into the spindle has been mushroomed out, so I'm going to have to run a thread repairer over it. I was wondering if anyone knows the size/pitch of the threads.

I haven't tried to flip the stock rims around, but each time I've ordered a set of tires/rims from Rocky Mountain ATV I've had them mounted on the steel wheels that are off-set a little more that what the stock ones would be. Have never had a problem, but the steel rims are pretty tough.

I run Realtors on mine and it has no problem with snow. They grip well, but I have no problem doing power slides around corners. Mine are also the biggest you can get. They're a little extra heavy that way, but they also have a much larger footprint so it doesn't sink in easily.

Do you have any more pics of the mounting you did with those?

right on brother! hit the nail on the head. now i do belive in evolution, but my question for the world is- if we evolved from monkeys and apes, why do you still have monkeys and apes Now that's an easy one. Apes and humans evolved from a common ancestor, not one from the other. That is if you believe in evolution.

Thanks for the opinions guys! Chrome is not an option at this time, so I'm sticking with paint. I will probably make the arms different from the frame. I'll post pics when its done. Hopefully within a couple weeks!

Just to make sure I understand, $100 for both the full skid and a-arm skids and you pay the shipping? Does the skid plate have an access hole for the transmission oil drain?

I had read that you are supposed to warm up on old plugs, change to new (using the same heat range plugs), then pin it in 6th for a few seconds. Kill the engine and pull in the clutch. Just a question? Why is it only that the ones saying they are non-believers that sound like they are trying to bash the others? Do you actually have a guilty conscience and are trying to convince yourself? Not trying to sound like a jerk. You are free to beleive as you will 'free will' and I will not try to change your mind. I bought a used stock 2002 frame from zilladude. I'm going to be using stock a-arms for now. I was going to get some +2 arms, but I recently bought a wheel kit from Rocky Mountain ATV with steel wheels. They already set the front tires out an extra 2 inches on each side.

I like A the best, but there is nothing wrong with D.

I'm preparing a new frame, a-arms and swingarm for my banshee and I'm having trouble deciding if I want the a-arms and swingarm color to match the frame which is blue or the plastics which are white. I plan to stay with my white/blue theme, but just wanted some opinions. What do you guys think?

Christian here. I have a comment about the dinosaurs not being in the bible. The bible is like what 2,000-3,000 years old at the most? The last dinosaurs died out like 10,000,000 years ago? How in hell (excuse the pun) would the writers of the bible know about dinosaurs? Archealogists have only been around a couple hundred years. On another note. I've heard that flat slide carbs are supposed to increase throttle response and are good in applications where you constantly have the throttle wide open.

If they have the 2-1 kit and it lacks power I would have to say they don't have them jetted properly. I have the 35mm 2-1 and I love it. My Banshee has never run better and the extra mid range kicks ass! I also feel that mine actually gained more on the top end as well. Aslo, only taking 5 minutes to rejet is awesome!
