Honestly the computers that run my shop are 2 laptops that are 10 years old. I think they are Pentium II 386. They were over $3,000 new. The computer in the office used to be a Pentium II 486 tower until 2 years ago. LOL. We upgraded with a Pentium III laptop about 4 years ago and a new HP for the office. We still have those 2 Pentium II's though. They have been taken apart and cleaned with an airhose I don't know how many times. The computers on the machines are even older. One machine is a Fanuc System 10 from 1986 and the other 2 are Fanuc System 5 from 1978. hehe. I'm so damn poor I can't afford a boot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of.

Oh yeah, well I'm upgrading this 286 with a 13 inch monochrome monitor to a 386 with a black and white tv. (66hz clock, just press TURBO, whatchoo think now?) :? And I'm ditching the 5 1/4" floppy and going to 3.5's, probably 2 of them infact. 8)

I couldn't see if that last one was really money or just a coupon.l I just want to throw in my 2 cents here about running a business, etc, since I am heavily involved in 2 right now. For example, I personally don't care what Chevrolet does with the $450 I give them every month. Same with the lousy cable service I give $45.00 per month. The whole point of this is that you would pay for a service/feature at the HQ. That is where the money is going. If Brooke and Lee decide to run out and rent some midget hookers from Long Island, I don't care as long as the services/features that I am buying are still there. If the services/features disappear so will the $$$. Being that I will be a sponsor of the site soon, I will be giving the HQ $$$ for a banner. The money I give them goes.......somewhere, I don't give two fucks as long as my banner is there and I getting visits to the my site, and I'm still allowed here to post answers, opinions and questions. I think the HQ was, is and will be the best resourse for 2 strokes ever. I don't even bother with other sites anymore.

I think what most people like about his site however is the abundance of free info. I was a newbie once, and this site has taught me about 90% of what I now sort of know about the Banshee.

Meat, I swear to God I was doing this yesterday.......... The black and black w/white stripe are the klll of course, the 2 yellows are hot, the yellow w/red stripe is high beam, the solid yellow is low, and I think the blue goes to the tail light, and anything else is prolly a ground. I am doing this from memory, so if you burn your house down, you don't know me. P.S. On my banshee, and this pissed me off, both wires are yellow with no stripe, I will have to just figure out which is which.

Mine has been "down" for 10 months now, and I get so depressed hearing about the sand from my friends. I weed whack the hell out of my yard each week end just to get the smell of premix and exhaust on my clothes and in my hair. I haven't found an acceptable replacement for sand yet. Brown sugar is close, and you can eat it!!!

Hey Boonman, is that a 6" lift or are you incredibly short? J/K It looks like your up in the air damn near 2 feet? Out here if you go +6 the UHP will pull you over and give you the rubber glove treatment. They start by measuring bumper height, head light height, check for mud flaps, and frame height from the lowest stock point. My buddy that has a drop kit gets hassled all the time. 3" from the pavement is the drop rule, not sure about the lift law. :roll:

I missed out on one hell of a good deal for a dropped truck. My uncle had a bone stock 2wd V8 '95 chev 1/2 ton and I was ready to buy and have the 4/6 drop kit and the phat phuckin rims shipped in the next week, and he decides he doesn't want to sell. :roll: My buddy has a kick ass 99 S-10 with air bags and 17" rims. I like them both lifted and dropped, but I voted dropped.

I run dunes only, but sometimes out there you will encounter rocks or other things you don't want to hit and risk dinging a Douglas rim, so without the fenders on the front I can see what I'm going over alot easier when I want to straddle a rock etc, and I shaved the rears so it doesn't look so much like a tractor.

Hell if I know, but I think they are powder coated now. I sanded some of it off and it act like either a really thick paint or powder. I have seen numerous chromed springs out in the sand and they look great!!! I thought about the shock cover thing, but everyone I ride with has that. I want something different for once. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I got my front springs off of my stock shocks, and I am going to either powder coat them white like the plastic, International Orange like the frame or chrome. I can't decide!!!! What do you guys think? You didn't do to bad on what color to powdercoat my frame.

I heard this on a talk radio show the other day. A caller mentioned that the same group of "Peace Mongers" that wanted to take his gun away(or atl east stick a daisy down the barrel and put a happy rainbow sticker on his car) and get rid of the 2nd amendment is the same group that doesn't want us to take Saddams weapons of mass destruction because "we don't have any right to go into another country and force some one to do something."
