  1. No, I think thats just some pimp cartoon I found one day. Bootsy KICKS ASS though. His sense of style is so out there....I wish I had the money and the balls to dress like the guy. LOL I'm serious, he needs to make riding gear. Can you imagine seeing someone pulling a back flip heel clicker dressed like this? You'd have people saying "Carey who?"
  2. er... You mean with these guys? LOL j/k I ride sand only now. Can't stand any of the other terrains.
  3. I won't keep mine at my house anymore. I keep it at my shop. ADT and 4 security cameras, plus the local police check the place out since its at the end of a dead end street. Oh, and I'm a super tough guy red neck. Thats probably the reason its never been stolen.
  4. f*ck, I upgraded to 2 STEEL cans, and some marine grade nylon rope weeks ago. Pffft....tin is so 1996.
  5. Yes and no. You can make them bigger, but you don't just make them bigger. You have to know what you are doing; you have to know what to calculate in order to know where and how much to cut for the desired results. Several shops are represented here at the HQ that do excellent porting.
  6. Your mommas ass is so fat, if the bitch farts today, it wouldn't be out for 2 weeks. After I get done having sex with your big ol fat momma, I roll over 3 times......AND I'M STILL ON TOP!!!!!! Your moms so psycho, she makes PI look rational.
  7. I'd use a 3 inch cut off wheel to get rid of those stickers. Give it a drag bike cut.
  8. I don't have the machinery, but I have access to it, and I get a deal on laser/plasma time since I send a lot of work through. Are they weld on only? .125 thick 1018? Do people buy a lot of these? To get a good deal I have to make around 50 or so.
  9. LMFAO!!! Or, "Smell my fist!"
  10. yeah im plenty happy with my motor if i was dragging id try to squeeze every ounce of power out of her..but for mx jims motor with the 34's and deltas revs real quik and clean, comes on from idle, my top end is collecting dust, unless im dragging a pal, i dont see the very top of her, and im geared so tall, my bike just pulls like a son of a bitch, then i shift, all i need is plenty of hp to call on in tight situations on the track you can only go so fast and hang on, what i like most about my passion engine is i can hit a slow corner with a thumper and pull away from his ass, down a straight and gain some time, we are all looking for differnt things from our bikes, if i was just purely out for speed id mount a f-22 jet engine in my bike.......the best compliment ive had on my build came from Steve Hengeveld the #1 factory honda, 4 time baja 1000 winner, he rides my shee and says "holy shit that bike has so much useable power, its just right where you need it"...... Ty davis, who held the open desert class for years (until Steve took his title) rides my bike and says, "goddamm your bike pulls harder than my factory KX 500"....these guys live, ride and race where i live, when a Pro factory rider is impressed with your bike, you know your on to something......Jims motors are fast as fuuck, wicked low end pull, clean top end, however you carb it up, unless its starving, its gonna fly.......well jimbee, lets do the calander, id love one for the house and office.... Damn Deuce!!!! I can't wait until I got the money available. I've made up my mind, I just haven't made up my wallet. Also, on your W-2 does it say "Passion Racing Spokesperson" somewhere near line 4? LOL
  11. gbf4ever: How much do you think its going to cost you for powdercoating? Do you have all the necessary tools to paint the frame the "correct" way? Do you know whats involved in painting the frame? I could set you up w/ materials if I know what color you want to do. I've painted my frame in the past and when done right it will hold up good. just not as good as powdercoat Honestly the shitty factory paint holds up kinda good, but like B370 says, you got some prepping to do if you are going to paint it and have it look decent. Just sand blasting it wouldn't be enough. IMHO I think powder coat is waaaaay easier than paint, and is well worth it. Around here, I can get my powder baked off my frame, and repowdered for around $135 (new place I found ). With just a painted frame that would get sand blasted then powdered is around $100. I bet you could spend well more than that for a decent paint "system".
  12. You like that shit eh? hehe Thats that Star Wars Kid. Wheatchex....I forgot about that. That POS thing on the clutch lever. A few buddies of mine had their fail about 3-4 months after they bought their banshees, and it would only rev so high and backfire like crazy.
  13. That picture kicks ass!!!! The guy with the eBay auction sounds like an idiot in his description of "his product" ----From what jet size should be used towhat to do if your bike is running rich or lean--- That one is so hard. What do I do if its running lean? I KNOW Just run it until it blows a hole in one of the pistons. THATS WHAT I'LL DO!!!!
  14. I liked the part about Nyuks "special shipping material". hehehehe.
  15. WOO I like the looks of those billet intakes!!! Did you send him the whole engine? I've never seen a Banshee Flywheel balanced like that before, actually never seen anyone bother to balance a flywheel on a banshee.
  16. There is also the 30mm "nut" that holds the steering stem bearing in.
  17. That guy selling the CD must not know what he's talking about, or is calling one thing by another name. The Clymers manual (at least mine) has NOTHING on rev limiter, only a ignition interrupt system..the TORS. Like the others said, the only rev limiting factors are the pipes, carbs, size of the intakes/exhaust/transfers, rotating mass, etc. The Banshee has a primative crank triggered ignition, not a distributor, or any other type of electronically/mechanically controlled timing curve.
  18. Typically drag bikes are ONLY drag bikes. There's no way in hell you are going to take a stretched framed bike through trails, let alone one that does 100mph+ in the 1/4, that makes its usable power in the 8,000-12,000 rpm range. All around power won't get you much as far as drag racing. I guess it also depends on the class you enter too, but choose wisely on the set up. You can't very easily convert a drag bike to MX or a dune bike. Its easier to just own one set up for each type of riding.
  19. LMMFAO!!!!! So true!! ANyways, on a serious note, there isa a funny thing about all the recent questioning of ATV injuries and deaths... You see, in the last five years, the statistics actually show a DECREASE in the ratio of injuries and/or death from ATV's. You see, the number of machines sold, exponentially increased, while the number of injuries suffered did not increase the same amount. So there are more machines out there, and not as many peeps getting hurt. They always fail to mention that. I've been at home sick all day yesterday, and so far today, and I tried to watch CNN. I watched for a total of 5 minutes before I was ready to throw the TV through my front room window. They were trying to "spin" the Janet Jackson tittie incident into some big deal. The guy they were interviewing said "I don't think there was a single child that was offended by it" the news beyotch said "YOU DON"T THINK THAT A CHILD SEEING A BREAST ON TV ISNT DAMAGING?" He said about the same thing I said when I saw it "It was a wide angle shot that lasted less than 2 seconds, if that. I wasn't even sure what it was I saw it was so small and quick" then she fired back with "DON"T YOU HAVE ANY CHILDREN OF YOUR OWN??" and he would come back with a normal common sense answer. It went back and forth then they just ended it. Completely moronic news channel. People bash FOX, but I'll still watch them when I can over any other "news" network.
  20. Thats just the morons at CNN playing a numbers game. Check it.... You have a rate of say 1 death for 50000 atvs. You sell 209875200 atv's some people are going to die, but its not anymore that the statistical average. Now double the sales. The thing I can't stand, is they never compare how many families are brought together by drunk driving vs. atv's.
  21. This is what I did when I had the same problem as you. I changed out sprockets, and the chain was too loose or too tight. First, I used a die grinder to hog out the little adjusting slots on my stock swingarm. Then I cut the chain to where it was loose, but I could ride. I then rode it easily(bah I gave it hell!) up and down the street until it started to stretch, about 8 passes or so. Then I cut a link out and it was kind of tight, but not horrible. Then I stretched it out again the same way, and never had a single problem.
  22. Best to you Led. Its a day Im NOT looking forward to.
  23. EXACTLY!!! The slide has to move up and down, and you can't just compress the air trapped above the slide, or if the air does escape, and is not let back in, you got some stuck wide open slides. Think of a hypodermic. If you plug the hole with your thumb, you can't compress the plunger, and if you press the air out, plug it up, you can't pull the plunger out.
  24. I wouldn't use a half link. Every half link I have ever saw did not have a hardened pin, but a "sping pin" basically a split roll pin. I was told by someone I trust at the Yamaha dealer that they are illegal to use on street bikes, and he suggested that I do not use it on my banshee. If you do happen to find one that uses the same pins as the chain, then you are probably going to be okay, but stay away from thin side plates and sping pins.
  25. Ive played that before, but got bored before I lost. I lost on purpose to see what happens.
