I'm off to bed. I'm finally done!!! Well, not really. I still need to stop and buy a disposable camera. Thats the only thing I can find that I forgot to buy today. I smell like gas, my hands are dirty and they hurt but I think I'm ready. I hustled the whole damn day too. I leave here at 3:30am - 4:00 am my time, and that puts me to Vegas around 10am-ish. I should be stepping outta my truck at around 12:00-1:00. I haven't heard from Banshee370 yet though. See you guys tomorrow. -

This is the reason I am buying Toyota next time. I know of 5 different people with either Tahoes, Full size pickups, one tons, diesels etc. They all have some serious problems. Most are tranny problems. Its complete bullshit to buy something new then have to work on it. The truck I have now is a Cheby that I bought from my dad after he had $4,000 worth of warranty work done to it. If I get to Dumont and back has been my biggest worry. I'm sure I will because I don't beat the hell out of it, but it hasn't been fun the last 2-3 years. -

GOD DAMNIT DON'T SHOOT YOUR SELF!!!!!!!! Crate that engine up and send it to me first Then do what you got to do man. lol j/k Im sure its something simple. There really isn't that much to these bikes, and its probably something that isn't seated quite right or something is loose. You'll get it!!! -

Help Me Make A Trip To Celine Dione Worth The Trip
Cotton eyed Joe replied to Holyman's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Dumont = Get to I-15. Drive for a hundred + miles towards Kellyfornia. Get off at Highway 127 in Baker. Follow the road until you see a sign that says Dumont. Go there. Play in the sand. You could always go North instead and play a few rounds of golf in St. George too. Its about 100+ to Utah from Vegas. -
Anyone Know About Dryer Repair
Cotton eyed Joe replied to demsy's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Cool. I bet its just got the thermal shock thing. We get "water hammer" in the spring thaw. Sounds like someone in the street with a jack hammer. So how would one go about cleaning out his water heater? We do have VERY bad water here. Its almost a solid foggy white out of the tap, then after it settles its not too bad to drink. Brita sends me a Christmas card each year for the 908732456 filters I buy. My shop water is even worse. It actually gives me a stomach ache if its not filtered first. Thanks Holyman. -
Right now I run stock due to lack of serious HP. As soon as I get enough money for some serious engine work, then its up to a +3 or +4 for the dunes. Probably won't go longer than that because I like to jump. Where I go there aren't a ton of trails to ride, its mostly ride around, find a jump, ride some more etc. Personally I reserve +6 and longer for drag racing applications.

I LOVE THE HQ!!! K, my turn. My water tank makes a clunking sound when the hot water (sometimes the cold) is turned on. It doesn't always do it, but every now and again it sounds like someone dropping 1/2 ball bearings in it. What is it? The damn thing is only 5-6 years old. -
I just finished a -2 round house carrier style swingarm. No skid plate mounts, and as of right now its unfinished. PM if interested.

yeah same here... 3 days in a row...i think thats some kind of record....... i've never ridden in wet sand...will that make for muddy conditions or just pack the sand down? It will provide TRACTION!!! Personally I hate wet sand. Moist sand I can live with, but when its been raining and its soaked....... -
What kind of polished stuff. I build billet for the Banshee. I have most items, I don't have stator covers or water pump covers yet.

Everything you need to know is in the VIN#, on the lower left hand side somewhere near the foot peg. Meat has something on his site about that. MEAT LMFAO! hehe...Great explanation of the 2 types of people. -

JIM!!!!!!!!! Thats the coolest thing I've heard all day. Where would a brotha look up some info on that? -
I know what you mean Bill. When I wrecked, everyone that saw my banshee in the shop sitting there twisted told me how lucky I was. My wife wanted me to go ride another banshee THE DAY I WRECKED!!!!!!!! Hell, I could barely walk or breathe. Its taken quite a bit to get it back into riding shape, and every now and again it comes back to me what I went through that day. Honestly today I got to ride my banshee in the road at my shop, and it scared me somewhat. I only made a couple of passes, and I got off of it shaking. Its quite the thrill, but I hope to never do what I did a year and a half ago. I have earned a new respect for this bike, because I know what will happen to me if I don't respect its power. I hope you recover fully Bill, and its admirable that you listen to your loved ones. I can't say its sad to hear you are selling your banshee, as it may very well be for the best. I told my self after I wrecked, that if my knees didn't allow me to walk normal again, that I was out. It took about 3-4 months, and I was back to leg pressing 800lbs again. Im not exactly the same as I was, but I'm alright. Take care. Stan

New Banshee Owner Saying Hello
Cotton eyed Joe replied to oldturtle's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Welcome to the site and to the Banshee. I bought mine in '98 with out ever riding one. I saw one picture of my buddy pulling the front tires off the line at Sand Mountian UT, and I was hooked. I stewed over it for a month or two, and the yamaha dealer was next door to the gym I where I was lifting at the time, so I saw them day after day. One day I couldn't take it. I've never wanted to be with out it since. I was sad the day we had to sell my wifes banshee, but there is no way in hell I'll ever sell mine. I'll work at 7-11 if I have to. Its one of the best things I've ever done in my life. -
O M G I would love to just ATTEMPT to make something like that. I marvel at the talent these people have. I hope to someday have a talent like that!!!!!!!
