  1. Damn right. When it does run like shit, or just not quite right, its code blue in the fucken ER in my head.
  2. I haven't ridden a whole lot in the last 2 years, but before that, I rode the hell out of it for 4 years. A 98, bought it new, still on the original bore etc.... The only times its acted up was because of something I did, or failed to maintain. Shit like the floats being so far out of whack that gas is rolling out of the bore, because I didn't strap it down tight enough on the trailer. Or when I wrecked it....I twisted the frame on it, ripped the front bumper off, and smashed the left rim in so deep that it would not clear the brake caliper, and as I was laying there in the sand I counted the impacts...The inital one, then two, then three then it landed.... on its tires. My buddy started it on the first kick. When I put it all back to gether and started it for the first time in almost a year and a half, it took about 5 kicks with the choke pulled out. All in all its been a really good bike.
  3. Kinda cool. I've never worked with Ti. I hope to someday, but right now I can't afford it.
  4. LMFAO As funny as that is, I've heard stories about people getting caught up in a lathe...and one guy was telling my dad how is brother got his head pulled clean off by one. There was a guy here earlier this summer on the news that got his left arm ripped off. Someone didn't lock out the power box while he was working on it. Stupid mistakes can cost a whole lot.
  5. I recommend having a bank account for just the pay pal, then transfer from that account to your personal account. I hate someone having access to everything I own. Its kind of a pain, but I feel safer knowing that if someone rips me off, they'll get $.50 instead of $6.24.
  6. Be sure to post any shinanigans that the kid pulls off.
  7. LOL!! I have 5 in stock! Just say the word Walt. and..... 2006?????????? Damn Walt!!! I can't wait that long! Fun like that should be had twice per year at least, but I understand with the whole living on the east coast deal.
  8. I've loosened mine before, and tried like hell to get it tight. I hope I did. I didn't disassemble anything to get to it, I just kind of manuvered a wrench in there sort of....
  9. LMFAO! I was having my apres-work cereal and creatine and some of it ended up on my shirt. I wonder if they had to use a weed whacker or some shears. I also wonder where all the homeless lice went.
  10. No, but thanks for the link. I'm sort of going to think about what I want to do with my next bike. I have the frame, just bought the a arms, going to get the engine soon. I thought the only sand drags were in silver lake and laughlin. Have you participated before?? What is required?? What is allowed? I would really like to give it a try within the next 2 years.
  11. What was hilarious about it? A guy works at an ice cream shop and serves hindus ice cream? It's like your saying its funny to buy a slurpee from an arab at a 711 The woman working at the 7-11 by my house looks like a warmed over version of Dave Mustaine.
  12. I have a couple of friends with bikes, that are both fairly new to the sport, and I just always hope that they don't let their ego's get the best of them. So far the stories of wheelies across a set rail road tracks at 45 mph wearing shorts and no helmet have nearly killed ME, but it's their lives...not mine. I've seen enough shit in my town to know better than to ride like that. If I had a bike, I definitely wouldn't ride it wild. Eventually you will lose. Sorry to hear about your loss JT.
  13. HAHA The only ticket I've ever got was when I was pinched going 95 in a 65 in my 97 Z71 I had. Luckily for me I was the only one on the road except the cop, and he wrote me up for 10 over. Instead of a $120 fine it was $40.
  14. The bike is a 200cc stock it blows away warriors and banshees if you can keep the front wheels on the ground. IF YOU CAN KEEP THE FRONT WHEELS ON THE GROUND??? WTF?? I've ridden a blaster on pavement...I had to practically yank the handle bars off of the stem to get it to wheelie. Maybe if I had slid my fat ass over the rear tires, and then maybe onto the grab bar and then hung it over the grab bar......
  15. Yes. The purpose of the flywheel is to provide momentum. When you take away mass, it has less momentum, which translates into torque.
  16. That's the racing Jeremy McGrath is doing now. It was some crazy shit! Now that I know its called Super Tard or whatever...I'm going to keep my eye out for it.
  17. First off you aren't old enough to get drafted. Second, you would hear about it on the news. Third, if you were drafted today, I highly doubt you would see battle for almost a year, maybe longer. It takes time to train. The military doesn't take people in, then stand them up somewhere with a gun and a helmet and tell them "Good luck" When people were signing up after 9/11 the news reported those people were hoping to go to Afghanistan to kill members of the Taliban. They then said that most of them would never see Afghanistan, and those that did would see it 5 years or more after they signed up. http://www.foxnews.com lol....check that site first.
  18. I would recommend BDBanshee or Boonman. Both do excellent work.
  19. Hey, maybe you saw this this summer....they had CR-250's n shit racing on both pavement and dirt...the pavement was like a grand prix course with turns and straight aways, then they would break to almost full on MX!!! with doubles and table tops, and the tires they used were nothing like any tire I've ever seen. They called it Super Cross I think...it was cool as hell seeing these bikes on pavement.
  20. Did...they....LOOK AT THE TIRES ON IT BEFORE THEY CLAIMED IT DUAL SPORT??? Those still look like a street tire to me. I guess I could put knobbies on an R1....
  21. Risers? Or do you mean 1 1/8 bar adapters...they raise the height of the bars some.
  22. Dave, are those sometimes called "Cafe Bikes" ??? That looks like the one a buddy of mine at the gym has. He loves it. He let his 15 year old son take it for a test wreck in a parking lot.....he was a little quick on the clutch and it looped out from underneath him. Bikes fine, kids fine...fun times.... I'm looking at getting an R6 or an F4i.............engine
  23. I used to draw alot, but over the years have fallen out of it. I would love to pick it up again, but I really really want to learn how to use an airbrush. I had one, and I almost got good at it before I got frusterated and threw it away. lol...I tried it all on my own, which sucks ass. I need some sort of guidance and hands on for stuff like that.
  24. That cat is pissed.
  25. A good paint from a paint gun is the only paint that will ever go on my plastics again. One little tip my brother in law told me...if the plastic has stickers on it (as in the case of STOCK banshee plastics) they are easier to paint. The mold release agents have been cleaned out of the plastic for the most part so the decals will stick well, hence the paint will stick better. My tank plastic was painted with little prep time. It was the water pump cover, and the stator cover that took forever to clean and sand.
