****mx Banshee Parts For Sale- Pictures******
Torn66 replied to Torn66's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
jsut put up a bunch of parts on ebay...lots of stuff besides this and more to come most $1 no reserve http://cgi6.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISA...&sort=3&rows=50 -
the topic isnt even worth discussing until you know the following Track layout Mods Rider ability ...for the most part- banshee MX'ers ahev to re-gear more than any other bike since they have no low end (even with low end mods) I know i have to run 2 completely different gearings for Jack Frost and Rausch Creek to practice because the track is so different. (i wish i remebered what the combos where though!) tight tracks with jumps coming into and out of corners- banshees will never be the fast bike on the track.- but gearing can help put the power to the groud a little easier some times
-
they are designed for a completely different geometry- I have seen alot of people bolting them up- and yes they will be better than stock- but its worth plunking down the extra for good afermarket shocks I have had both bikes and AXIS PEP stock and stock YFZ and there is no comparison w/ the better shocks
-
Atreau- im w/ smokin 350- ilive right by you and am interested in parts to pick up. you better reply or something b/c your rep isnt really getting steller here or at BT

Custom Axis Front Shocks For Sale
Torn66 replied to Torn66's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
valved for 180-200lb mx a/b class I might consider a trade for the works- but your better off selling them b/c i want stock shocks back on the bike to sell. PM me or e-mail to discuss- [email protected] -
the banshee and YFZ rear shock is not interchange able- I have both bikes- and wanted to use my bashee shock on the yfz- the rezzie on the banshee is directly behind the shock- onthe yfz it on the side although i am told that the YZ 450 rear shock will work. I have a YZ 400 shock im going to try on there in a few weeks and see how that works

spoke to the guy the other day about YFZ arms- real nice real knowledgeable- and nothing but good reveiews from a number of sites- plus about 100 less or more than mos brands

Torn66 replied to Torn66's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
that is the WHOLE length of the shock- eye- to eye is different- They were on +2 LSR a-arms - they are the same length as any shock you would use for banshees with +2 arms will also take a partial trade on stock shocks -
Custom Axis Front Shocks For Sale
Torn66 replied to Torn66's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
tough to say b/c i had PEP's on there originally. its sits nice for MX- i never used them on the trails but you could crank them up and prob get a few more inches of clearance- thay have very good adjustabliliy Its really dependednt upon how you set it up, what a-ars you have and how you run the shocks -
hey guys custom AXIS shocks- 5 rides no races- parting out the shee unreal shocks- cost 1275 new- Best offer gets them (just front shocks)
-
Blue Duece- love the bottle opener on the key...that must come in handy
-
agreed- Plus i want to meet the meat! his advice to alotof everyones questions has savedme some serious bling over the past 2 yrs or so
-
i just digitize a whole batch of my old MX videos- (stock shee!!!) need to get some newer footage-( i hopefully have gottne better) but i'd love to contribute Heres the first vid I made...still trying to get the hang of editing http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/mx/p.mpg (need to signup to see- but a great place to post vids for free)
-
damn this is starting to sound like it will happen. Can't wait- and it sounds like i ride at the smae place as most of you in nanticoke I hope you guys still let me come though....I'm supposed to pick up my YFZ today
-
agrees- i've smoked 410's and ported bikes only because their setups cant put power to the ground at the right times. simple motor mods will get you competitive- Chasis and supension upgrades first
-
also triple rates arent necessarily 'better' than dual rates. I have dual rate AXIS and triple rate PEP's and the axis aremuch better. (although the PEP's were still outstanding) you'll be hard pressed to find many shee's running long travel- the width of the frame in thefont really limits it...especially if you are looking to stay under MX width guidelines. if the bike was anything other than a banshee LT would be the way to go...but for a shee its reall aton moremoney and the performace can be closetomatched with a well tuned std. travel setup for much less IMO either way- you'll love the difference any setup makes

i have been to uxbride and was going to do the independent races in Winchester in NH until i hadto get surgery on my hand last spring...and since have moved away from the area. from what i have seen and heard the open C class (where most beginning MX banshee guyswould race is a total mess....tons of quads with completely different skilled riders, people that should be racing B class (sandbaggers) and people who shouldnt be on the track...that class is def. the most dangerous
-
hey guys- i don check this that often either- but if this coal fest thing gets going im in!! i have really been into the whole MX thing but mainly b/c i donthave many people that want to headout to rip coalfields with me.... Please keepme in the loop also heres some pics of the place i ride up in that area... (to tell how steep and big some of this stuff is - check out the size of the trees at the bottom- fun stufff!)
-
they are so-so I have ordered from them 3 times- I paid for 3 day air...b/c I ordered ona monday need the parts by the weekend. I was ASSURED they were in stock and to be shipped that day. in reality nothing was in stock- i got SOME of the stuff 1 1/2 weeks later- sternly- but politely asked why- and all they did was refund me down to regular shipping cost.... yeah- thanks..... that didnt do anything when i had no parts had had to sit on the sidelines for the weekend. bottom line- good prices...pretty atrocious back office and customer service.
