jim, i bet hes runnin the bowls dry...i think that if you are going to be runnin it for long periods on the road at wot or near it, bigger carbs may be well worth the investment..he may have been lean but stock carb bowls arent very damn big..

swinger i think is sold..rear shock is ok..45 shipped for it..and if u want the bolts and shock just gimme 55 shipped and its all urs.

sounds either a little lean or your carb bowls were runnin dry too fast..that could be possible if you were haulin ass down the road for an extended period of time..

stock stroke?? id go with 33mm pwk..that way if u ever decide to build a stroker motor 33s will work well..

id still prolly go with t5s for any kind of trail riding..shearers pack a pretty good punch in the upper rpm that wouldnt be all that great for trail riding. t5s will smooth it out a little bit and it wont be such a lightswitch powerband.
