Yea, I'd just do as you please with it. After 5 years no judge or court will award this guy rights to that property anymore. Here in Missouri the standard is 60 days on stuff left in a rental dwelling, which I deal with all the time. So regardless of state, I seriously doubt anyone gives a shit after 5 years.

I am not sure on your state's laws but in most states you can do whatever you want with it. After so long it is considered abandoned property in which no one actually owns it. Therefore you can actually stake a claim to it since it's in your possession. What state are you in? Should be pretty easy to look up your state's abandoned property laws. I think it's safe to say that after 5 years he isn't coming back for it and isn't going to pay you for it.

I ran my +14 at LS with my Elka and stock linkage and it worked flawlessly. I did adjust the compression a little. I am not at all worried about the minimal difference of two inches. If I can design this swingarm, have Tim build it and see if it will pass my hardcore testing, I think it would change the whole swingarm game. Guy doesn't want to spend $700+ on two different length swingarms, plus time to swap them, plus parts laying around the shop and so on.. He wants to dune ride and do some drag racing in the same day at the dunes. Run it at +4 for duning and adjust the carrier position to +8 and go dragging!

I want to design an adjustable length swingarm for my hillclimbs. I know it can be done so that it will hold up. I want one that is adjustable between +6 and +10. My suspension is set up for the +8 that I run now so 2" either way isn't going to affect the shock enough to notice. Hell, I ran my shock with my +14 at the LS ride. I have an idea in mind for a Stellar built arched style swingarm that would be adjustable. I just need to sit down and put it on paper.

He is all upset because I keep deleting his threads but PMed me saying that BansheeHQ amounts to less than 1% of his business. So I guess I don't really see why he's so butthurt his threads are being deleted. If it's less than 1% of his business it surely can't be worth the time to post here. Sounds like another Alfie's Toybox type situation to me.

It seems to be a pretty common problem. The tolerances must just be really close. I can remember pulling the cover before and seeing where the impeller was rubbing the cover. Is that what you're talking about?
