Fucking computers.. Installed that K-Lite shit an hour ago.. Made a new video, saved it and uploaded to YouTube. Now this BRAND NEW computer with 8MB Ram and 1T hard drive is acting laggy as fuck. Switching between tabs in Firefox is slow as fuck and nearly causing Firefox to shut down. What in the fuck?

Just installed the K-Lite junk and my shit is working now. I'm sure it'll work until the newest update in 37 minutes.

The Windows 8 codec pack is the one that people say doesn't fix anything.

Dave is dajogermanium... I'm leery of shit I don't know anything about.. I've read in searches where the codec packs did nothing. Every search I've turned up tells me it's because Windows 8 sucks dick. So you think installing the codec shit will work? That website looks pretty fucking suspect.

NVM, I fixed that part. Dave, your GoPro converter didn't work. I get an error message when I try to play the converted videos. It says "Can't Play. This video was encoded by some shit that isn't supported by shitty fucking Windows 8."

It's a known issue. From what I've read, Windows 8 Pro is the only package that has the necessary components to make it work. That's another $100 or so. And I've also read that even that version has some issues.

I'd like to drive over the designer of this garbage a few times. Why in the FUCK would they remove all necessary codecs and shit to play fucking MP4 videos? Now I can't view a single fucking helmet cam video in Windows or Movie Maker. I can view them in VLC, but that doesn't help me when I want to use the helmet cam vids to make a new video. Are there any good free or cheap converters out there? Fuck Prism.. I used it to convert two videos and now it's locked until I pay them $35. This is bullshit. Fuck Windows. Fuck Microcock. Fuck Bill Gates.
