  1. I’m a longtime banshee lover and rider, stopped owning them about a decade ago. I want to get back into it, but this time around I’d love to have one new in the crate to keep and have as an art piece. I’ve seen a few 06s back in 2010-2015 pop up from time to time. How many are actually left like that?

N20TOOFAST4U has a few. You can message him for more information

    Hello guys,

Regarding the front suspension and travel, I found the Rock Chromoly A-Arms go for around 150 dollars while the Lonestar pair goes for 1400. The smart thing to do is go with the 90% cheaper option, but what do you guys think?

Since when ever has the smart thing to do been to buy the cheapest option?

If you're looking to build a complete dune bike, you should figure you'll spend $6-15k

I would have loved T5's but couldn't get my hands on a pair and their website has a backorder on them. I managed to find some clean CPI pipes, the normal ones not the drag pipes, but I think theyll be okay for the build. Which setup cub do u think I should go with? Serval or Cheetah or?? About the suspension, which brands are known to be the best??

do a 4 or 10mil cub. call a good builder and tell them your budget.

suspension - whatever your budget is. Fox shocks with Roll a-arms always look good

I just purchased this 2003 gem. I also bought my first banshee from the show room in 2003. I want to turn this stock beauty into a daily use monster. Any ideas or advice or whatever contribution to this build is welcomed. So far im starting with a T-5 exhaust, brings back memories. And from there well go bit by bit till it hits 80 hp.

Don't even waste the time taking your time. Just do suspension and a cub setup with shearers and be done with it. You'll be money ahead just going straight into it.

T5's are probably the best sounding/looking stamped pipe. But they aren't good for much besides that.

Way more then the $1500 this fella is hoping to build frames for. Honestly the frame was about $4500 to build, and all the Rath Ti stuff is closer to $5500. Race Tech hardware is a little over $2k. PEPs were about $4k. All the other stuff like controls, shifter, brakes, lines, etc is stupid.

You spent how much on this frame?!?!?!?!? Brett....tisk tisk tisk....

I paid to have a YFZ geometry banshee frame done. It was designed so that any yfz parts will bolt up. Only specific parts would be a lengthened yfz steering stem to clear the higher banshee tank, and a custom rear no link shock for your application. Jigs are not fancy, but would enable you to get a unit produced, and then build a production jig based off that. Let me know if you’re interested in renting the jig. I don’t know that I want to sell it out right as I still want the ability to do repairs on my junk if needed.
