Don't quote me, but I believe the clamp-ons for stock filters are 1 3/4 ID 3W X 4L...you can go longer & be fine though, dunno Rocky Mountain's PN you're looking for...

trash the piece of shit & get a new one...mine's fubar too, I've been able to get by with some big washers on there, but it's the biggest $80 POS I ever spent money on.

You'd be good at going to around .030"...what I did with mine, should put you around 150lbs compression...I run 91-93 oct & haven't had any issues, hell I'm still running the stock pistons, rings, & cyl's...still @ exactly 150lbs on both sides. I'd take it somewhere that has done one before, or send it off to someone who knows exactly what they're doing.

Couldn't tell you about dirtworx, have heard of them but nothing more. As for the flywheel, is definately worth lightening, will rev a bit quicker, depends on who you go through as far as pricing goes...

If you got a clymers, just check the internals & make sure they're up to spec per your manual, definately replace anything questionable while you're in there, and anything you bugger up taking it apart...

Try running it, and shutting the gas off until it dies, then turn the gas on & see if it will start up...may be just fludding itself.

Notta, just checking on prices...probably will go with an aftermarket setup while I got the money, may as well... May buy the clutch bolts from ya, PM me a price if ya wanna get rid of them. May just order them with all the other OEM stuff & get all the crap at once though. I'll check ronnie's prices & lead times, thanks for the referral. Yeah, the basket is hosed..on of the bolts that holds it onto the plate got snapped & wedged sideways in the threaded hole. And the fingers are all fuggered up to. thanks again all...

God damn bolts back out of my new hinson basket, hosed my clutch & basket,...and I dunno what all else yet...so far...need new: -clutch basket, backing plate & coushins -clutch plates -shift shaft(bent that sob too ) -lockwasher that holds on the clutch nut on -notch washer & circlip that holds on the idler gear -probably some new clutch-spring bolts(I'm bound to snap a couple of them bastards upon re-install fo the clutch springs) And I think that's about it for now. So much for a cheap fix. I got some oops pics, just need to get them online from the digi... So where shall I start? Been a while since I've looked around for good prices... anyone ever shop on bikebandit.com?

Finally got some DSL, have I missed anything? Went riding yesterday, some shit came lose on the clutch side, a snap-ring, a washer, & I found a couple bolt heads in there ...fuggered up my new damn clutch & basket, but I think I can 'rig it up, I'll be posting some pics here before too long so I can get some help identifying the foreign objects. Anyhoo, just fingered I'd say hello & glad to be back.

What clutch did you put in it? Run no less than 1.5 qt, I'd run 1.75-2qts...
