Definately get yourself the right puller. And also as already stated...if it's a bit snug, you may have to grind the outer edges a bit so it will fit ok in there; you'll see what we're talking about...nothing big. Here's a pic that may be helpful, I wouldn't advance it anymore than +4.

We're skipping on the lamaz shit...she's in her last her of WSU's Nursing school & is going through her OB rotation this semester in the Wichita hospitals....so she'll get to see 10fold what she's in for, me...well I'm just there to cheer her on. Already been life-changing up to now, can't imagine what I'm in for....but I'm ready.

With the new job, I won't be able to get down there until early Friday evening...I'm working 7am-3:30pm, so if I have my shit together for the most part, I oughta be there by 7 or so....will just be me in the little red dakota & my banshee as far as I know, so squeezing me in somewhere shouldn't be a problem. I agree...I've done to both bolts on the shifter side of mine, I have a tendancy to over-tighten for some reason. Had to drill the peg holes just a hair bigger, but I've had no problems since.

Could be your impeller rattling a bit, may check it out & make sure it's not warped. Mine's had a slight knocking/rattling in there for years & nothing has came of it. What oil you running?

I don't have my bible on me to see what it should test out to, nor have I tested a coil myself...so I'm of no help there. Haven't heard any +'s or -'s on the RS coils, didn't know they even had them to be honest with ya...I'd suggest checking the classifieds & post a wanted add for for a good used one.
