We are all big fans of the banshee, that's why we are here isn't it? However, the Banshee is hardly the best quad ever built. It may be the best straight line or duning quad ever built, but not generally the best.

first, I wasn't hitting and running... just a bit busy at work. OK... here's why I had an issue with what you said. YOU are not the voice of any unborn child. No one is... no one has ANY WAY of knowing what a child wants when that child hasn't even taken a breath of air, or at the point we are talking about, even has anything to take a breath of air with! Your post makes it seem like you have placed yourself on another "level"... which is really irritating. I'm sure you are an ok person, and have a great belief system, but placing yourself above the level of humanity is a bit self-serving, egotistical, and to me, really makes you seem so aloof that it has made my respect level for your opinions drop off the cliff. So anyway... now I'll give my actual opinion on abortion. I do NOT believe abortion should be used as a form of birth control. I only really believe abortion is justified in a couple of cases. Rape, incest (which is usually rape anyway), or when the health of the mother will be put in jeopardy to carry the baby to term. I do believe it's the womans choice ...... but it was also the woman's choice to get fucked in the first place, with the obvious exception of rape. There are many families that are unable to have children and would love the opportunity to adopt a child as their own. There are specific, very controversial ideas that I have on "who" the people are getting abortions anyway and in order to ensure that this doesn't turn into a "Bad99banshee is an asshole" thread, I'll keep them to myself. Bottom line in my mind is this.... just like if you play with matches, you may get burned and you better be ready to deal with the pain, if you play with a dick, you may get pregnant and you better be ready to deal with the consequences. Life is about choices and if you choose a path, you better know where it goes. Birth control pills are much cheaper than getting abortions.

I was referring the point of the human body functioning/living on it's own. Of course if you neglect something that is living, it will die. The point I'm making is if a human is dead when there is no heartbeat or brain activity, how can we say an organism that has neither is alive and is really a person. It just doesn't make sense. If the glob a cells doesn't have what it needs to be considered "alive", how can we say we are killing something? We aren't, that's the point... killing a baby that is unborn once it has a heartbeat and a brain, then that's fucked up, but aborting a pregnancy before the organism has gained the essence of "life" isn't killing anything.

ya know.. I'm not a proponent of abortion or anything, but I do have a big problem with one little aspect that really, really irritates me when people avoid the answer. Here's the premise that is spewed out: At the point of conception, life begins. I call bullshit. Here's why..... When someone that is truely living goes to the hospital, or whatever because something has happened they call the coroner to "pronounce them dead", or to "confirm death". How do they define the "death"??? Specifically, it is when the heart stops beating, brain activity has ceased and the person can no longer "live" on their own without the life supporting equipment. So, I give you this... how can something be "alive" or a "life" has begun when that glob of cells has neither of the the things that are needed for us to call someone alive is there? Wouldn't it actually be in the same state as the human being that was just pronounced dead? Once that unborn developing embryo develops the things that we use to diagnose death, wouldn't that actually be when "life" begins? Just a thought. I'm sure many of you disagree.

I have one on my banshee and I love it! the slave cylinder doesn't move all around at all. I run HD springs in my clutch and it's still buttery smooth and easy to pull. Don't know if there are other brands out there, but I run the Magura. I whole heartedly recommend it and I'm going to put one on my sons Raptor soon. FYI. If you get one though, make sure to get a "bleed kit" for it.. it'll save you some hassle. I just went from the plastic line to the braided stainless steel line and used the bleed kit and had it installed in like 10 minutes.

ummmm... let's see... a missle is in the very same place, for a very long time and can be watched for movement and tracked. Osama... we've never located him in one place for very long so it's kind of hard to "track" him. Comparing a man running around the mountains, hiding in caves to a missle the size of a grain silo sitting on a launching pad is a little silly. It has nothing to do with any nuke in a city or anything..... I'm quite sure they would like to find him alive.. take him to ground zero and let the families of the victims of 9/11 stone him to death. that would be cool... then we can stream that on the internet for all the other rag heads to see.

Guys, I'm not an expert by any means, but as an outside observer to all the things you are talking about... here's what is striking me .... Maybe this isn't a jetting problem at all. When I did my rebuild and went to my single PWK 35, I was fouling plugs like crazy and I tortured a lot of people here, and at Trinity (since they did the port job and it was their intake) and we were all perplexed. Why this is interesting to this situation is... every now and then, I would just lose spark... completely... wouldn't start.... if it would start, it would die during the test ride... but I wasn't sure what was going on. I was so fixated on my "jetting" problem that the spark issue was going to be the next thing I looked at after the jetting was fixed. I was leaned WAY out and finally realized... this is fucked... no way is this jetting setup going to be right. It turns out to be a wire that was almost cut through coming from the the stator to the CDI. Somewhere during the teardown or rebuild I must have pinched this wire and almost cut it completely through. The problem was, it just wasn't getting enough spark energy from the stator to the CDI to produce enough spark at the spark plug to explode "all" that fuel... so it was getting better as I leaned it out. Once I found and fixed the wire and had good spark the thing was so lean I would have burned it up. I went back to my baseline settings and started again and right now I'm at this setup: PWK 35 Pilot: 48 Needle: DEK Main: 180 I'm much lower altitude than you so my jetting specs will be a bit richer... but you get the idea. I think once you get your spark issue figured out.. your jetting will be way different than what you have right now that may be "close". Just my personal opinion, I may be completely wrong.

cool, thanks for the reply. I'll keep doing some research... maybe I'll end up with gnarly's when it's all said and done. I know there are other "woods" pipes out there too, but since I've put my PC's on, I've been so happy with them, I never felt the need to look elsewhere, and consequently ended up not knowing a whole lot about which pipe is better for where I want the power to be.
