Here's my take on helmet laws.... I never ride without one on my shee... for lot's of reasons... I don't like to wear one on the street... and here's why... With my helmet on, my hearing, peripheral vision, and just my senses in general are diminished... Without my helmet, I can hear things happening, I can see much more, and I have much more time to react to things that I see quicker or can "sense" is happening... The simple fact is.. Helmets reduce the injuries/death involved when a crash does happen, but less crashes happen without helmets. If a rider can react faster or is more aware of his surroundings, less incidents will occur... That's my feeling, I'm sure others are different... offroad.. no question... helmet is on

I have an IMS 5.6 and you really don't notice the extra weight. Holy hell this is awesome.... I think everyone on here, including me, would be better off it they just realized that we are all just white noise compared to Brooke and Jen. When it all comes down to it.. the thought of Brooke pulling anyone's panties off... is just... ah... um... it just brings a tear to the eye... it's so beautiful. It's as simple as this.... yeah, it's 306 miles I think from me. to the Hatfield-McCoy trails... I'm just north of Pittsburgh, in Mars, PA and we get there every year in a little less than 5 hours. Great riding, good area and they WANT YOU THERE!

Read again snapper head... I don't have a problem. Macs are much better than PC's... I have my PC for playing games, and my Mac for almost everything else now.

All the animated gifs are cool... the first 10 times you see them... it's the next 367 times that really get on your nerves. They are cute... they are cuddly... they are down right aggravating! I, as well as Brooke, use a Macintosh and run Firefox (and many others)... we both have very fast G5's and we have no technical problems with the signatures themselves. It just get's a bit annoying that we can have a 3 letter reponse and then 18 minutes of animated gifs loading off slow ass, overloaded, 2 bit servers! Look at Brooke's sig... it's fucking hilarious and it very small and fast. If everyone would get of their damn high horse and have a unique signature that is actually message board friendly, we'd all live happily ever after. Now, go get a nice animated GIF that is all you and be done with it.. you know.. some dude mooning the world.... something that says... ASSHOLE. later! -Tom

before my rebuild... 3-4 kicks...5-6 if it has sat a while. after my rebuild... 1-2 depending on how long it has sat before I have run it. -Tom

check all your wires starting from the stator all the way to the coil. Look for cuts, slices, bares, etc... I had a major "firing" issue last year when I put my bike back together and replaced EVERYTHING in the electrical system, carbs, plugs, etc, etc, etc trying to fix it and it turned out to be a couple wires that were almost cut through. I had the same symptoms as you... generally. when I could get it to rev, it would spit out fuel from the pipes and the plugs were WET! if a wire is cut or somewhow damaged, you will not get enough spark energy to the CDI to fire the plugs. I know how you feel dude... -Tom

Do you guys even know what a boost bottle is SUPPOSED to do to your bike? A boost bottle is a resonator... it's not a power increaser like a timing advance, pipes, reeds etc... It's a fuel mixture resonator that helps you in the on and off throttle sections of a trail or track. It only helps throttle response in those situations and doesn't do anything for raw horsepower. -Tom
