  1. Hey sweetheart. What is a real trip is that we joined here on the same day! You'd have a better chance at actually beating me than pulling that off.
  2. Looks slow. Dont worry Johnny, I still think you should ditch the wife and keep the bike
  3. Oh, its a (slow)TWISTER!?!?! Golly gee, color me surprised.... Dang, did I miss you at Dumont? I tell you what. I don't do any of that informal BS. Take your little billet paper weight to the track and we will race there. I'll be sure to post the slip of us racing so everybody knows just how bad you got beat. Keep yelling out those obscenities though. I hear it is good for an extra tenth...
  4. You got it. No stock ignition will bolt straight to them. You have to machine them a little.
  5. That is fine, but you are rarely ever going to hear a builder admit that they lost fair and square. It is always something, you know? Jetting excuse is kind of lame though since Lynn has a lot of experience with that particular motor. Truth remains though that it was his hill, and he did get beat by a bike that was essentually rolled off the trailer and considerably smaller. I am not sure what you mean by truth though, or for that matter a good source. Is the video not a good enough source? Who determines that it was the truth? Lynn? Not trying to start anything either, but at least consider both sides. This is actually why I stopped racing the hill. Everybody has an excuse, or a reason for why they lost. I also think that is why K&T and Packard only go to the track now. Oh well, not my thing. Lynn will never be my builder, nor will Vincent. Enjoy the holidays.
  6. What are you, like twelve? Lol, what a tool bag...
  7. Each set takes care of one reed block. All are sold except for one package (4 pedals). I have another set (4 pedals) but I won't be home until the 6th to ship it out. Sorry for the confusion.
  8. Yeah, they are brand new. I was hoping you would tell me what you thought is fair. I was thinking like 45...
  9. I have a couple sets of replacement V-Force 3 reeds. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks
  10. Wrong forum...sry
  11. I have a few sets of replacement reeds for V-Force 3 cages. Let me know if you are interested.
  12. If you weren't there, you shouldn't be talking. Video is proof. There is more to the whole race then 350x is telling, but it is pointless. LC got beat. They were there all day before hand. They rolled that 10mm off the trailer cleaned up. End of story. It was a Vincent built motor anyway with Nate's help...at least get your facts straight. edit: (re-read this, not trying to come off hostile or defensive)
  13. It wasn't too whooped out that day, but it did have a pretty hairy "jump" right around shut down time. I agree, billet cases are really the only way to go. They are about 15lbs heavier, but the benefits of them FAR outweigh the weight. You can change your shift forks on the fly (with a billet tranny this is a MUST because they get eaten up fast), plus you have the 8mm case bolts, and you can even get away without running a bearing support if you don't want to. I had 3 or 4 threads mysteriously break off on the output side of my billet Robinson tranny (which he wouldn't stand behind btw) on the first pass at AVI and I had to take the bearing support off of it to get a nut on the counter sprocket. I was surprised that the cases held, I was damn impressed. More then I can say about my two thousand dollar transmission...
  14. You are looking at a lot more then 11g's by the time you include billet cases, billet trans, and a solid clutch. Expect around 15k for a DMX/cougar. As for your answer, the DMX's are making significantly more power once you get to the upper limits of the DM casting. I know several builders who prefer both types of cylinders. I will tell you though that my DMX has already made more power than any other motor on our local dyno. Just have to work on getting it hooked up now.
  15. I have a Hinson straight cut basket that is new that I don't have a lot of use for. I paid 750 bucks (with tax) for it. Open to offers. Thanks
  16. We would need to know what size pistons you would need.
  17. How much do you need?
  18. I like 1211. Yamabond/Hondabond (Same stuff) sets up too fast
  19. Lol, I got a good laugh...thanks Dave. Yes...they are new...I guess I could get you a picture...but they are new, unused...and still in the box.
