  2. still need a couple parts and sold the truck that i was using to haul my quad so i have no way down there.
  3. Im asking $5200 for the motor with carbs. $5600 with pipes and carbs. The motor puts out around 125-130 hp. on alky.
  4. I have around $6200 in the motor.....and it puts out around 125-130 hp. on alky. The quad is currently for sale for $8000 complete......or i will sell the motor out of it if anyone is interested. Bike has only been run 3 times..... I don't really want to get rid of it. but i need money for college.
  5. Thinkin about selling my banshee.....need money for college, Let me know if any of you guys are interested. I also may consider selling the motor out of it.
  6. can't be a gas 350 for dependablity....race after race.
  7. as soon as the weather breaks......I just started working again too so that will help with the funding.
  8. You're better off building it for straight up drag from the beggining rather than swapping out parts.....Most banshee's aren't modified for drag racing out there. and If you find one that is built for drag, you will be looking at around at least $5000-6000
  9. I sold it for $5500 last fall to a bike distributor....it was shipped to california.
  10. cool.....so it's an SRAD body style....those are the bike that put suzuki at the top in the sport bike industry. Here's a pic of my 99' i just sold this fall.
  11. that is ridiculous.....you can build a 16mm cheetah with a chromo drag frame for $16,000 all day long.
  12. direct from CPI you can order them how you want. www.cpiracing.com
  13. Both are good pipes, I my self have run out of frame CPIs and had great luck with them. I now run shearer inframes.
  14. Ben, Im going to be at Brad's house tommorow if you have any questions or prices you want me to ask him about. Let me know before 2:30 tommorow.
  15. Why would you want an excessivly loud pipe....more noise doesn't mean more power.
  16. didn't end up running at all yesterday......ended up having to pull the motor and tear it down, and split the cases to get the clutch pushrod out of the trans.
  17. I would go with a drag ported 4 mm. and just keep a stock trans. contact a builder to have him help you out....... heres a couple of good builders. www.bansheeracing.com www.tysonracing.com www.ktperformance.com www.ohtonracing.com www.dynoedgeracing.com www.southernstyleracing.com
  18. Plan on being at the bay on sun. around noon. Who else is going??
  19. sounds like you welded the clutch pusher.....that's the same thing that happened to mine.....I made two passes a few weeks ago on the black river and on the last pass i lost my clutch at around 100 mph.
  20. it's not too bad....you can still pull in the clutch...it's just a little bit harder. Nothin major.
  21. Heard about that....also heard that they were drunk off of their asses..... So. is anyone running anywhere this weekend ?
  22. On a somewhat stock motor if you want to retain the airbox go with a set of 28's from vito's.
