Cool I can buy a new case from yamaha for $65 ( not likely to find it from the factory for $65, can't even buy it on ebay used for that! ) send it to you to chrome it for $150, so I've spent $215, plus shipping from Yamaha, plus shipping to you and back, so I'm looking at aprox. $240-$250 right? Compared to $125 plus shipping so about $135-$140! So you would save about $100 dollars and about 3-5 lbs. sending it to me to be ploished. And your point was?

When porting the reed cages do you want to keep the sharp edge around the ports or round it off?

I bought one at a auto parts store for $5. Any auto parts store has them, look in the near the air conditioning componants. Then search the forum for temp gauge mods pretty easy just splice into the coolant return.
