  2. Ok im having a brain fart. Where does the vent line that is hooked to the back of the case and runs in to were the water pump is go on the open end.
  3. Just wanted to see if anyone has plans to head down to Jerico over easter weekend or any time before them. Last time i was down was in november. Cant wait to get down again. I did meet Bigred and some of his crew, There a some good people.

  8. I need some new pipe hangers. I dont want some cheese dick bent peice of metal. Im looking for some nice billet ones. Anyone have a source or a website were i can get them. I have checked ebay and didnt see any. I did see some billet ones that had the ruber in the middle of them, but i cant seem to find them again. I need the front and rear and im runnig cpi inframes.
  9. The compression sound good to me. Mine is close to that with 18cc domes and porting. I dont think i would go more than the 44 on the back. Do you have any friend with both the v blade style and the straight paddle tires. See if you can try them both out to see for sure what you like better. I start out with the v blades because i heard they were easier to turn. I myself didnt notice any difference in the turning going from v blades to straight blades. There is a big difference in the way the tire hooks up. I think you would like the straight blades better if you get the chance to try the 2 out before you buy a set. To each his own though. just my 2 cents on it
  10. Little Saharra is the only sand that i have ever ridden. I am almost the same weight as you but my bike is built alittle more, with the sand skate II i ran 13-42 and it worked very well. The face is pretty steep and until you build you bike plan on being rapped out in 2nd by 3/4 hill. I changed to skat trak 22-11-10 8 paddle and there was a night and day differce. If you not to worried about loosing top speed run 13-43 or 44. But i would still almost beat on the bigger hills down there you are not going to be able to hold the higher gears If you buddys bike is set up the same as yours i could be you need new top end to get some compresson back. what part of Slc are you at?
  11. I agree 100% there quality is . No hardware one mine, and one of my stinger tube doesn't fit for shit. Call them and im told we offer new stinger tubes for 75 bucks a set plus more to get chrome again. I have talk all of my freinds out of getting them. But the is a good noticable gain in power for them over the t5 i had. I am just picky about my stuff. and for $500+ they should have been perfect.
  12. Weather should be good for the weekend. i plan on being down on the 15th with a few freinds. Will be the 2nd ride of the year on the banshee.
  13. Dont get your hopes up. The city has to have a population of less than 7500 people, and speed under 45 mph. So there letting you ride in towns that pretty much permit atv on the roads anyway.
  14. You having Lynn build the motor? Or just doing the cases and crank? After have work done by Lynn i wouldnt go anywere else. Check out his work and lc performce
  15. What is your elevation? A 400 jet is a big mo fo! Need to do a plug chop!
  16. Sounds dumb but, is your tank full? I just had a similar problem and my tank was pretty low. after 2 hrs of fucking with the fuel lines i turned the petcock to reserve . would only flow enough fuel for one side before i switch to reserve.
  17. I have some 34 mm taper bored to 36 mm mikuni carbs. For the life of me i cant get the sobs to quit leaking gas out of the over flow tubes. Leaks while riding and while sitting in the garage if i dont shut off the petcock. I took the needle valves out. Are the ends of them suposedt to be rubber coated to help seal? I have looked on both carbparts and sudco and have not read anything if they are or not. I plan to replace them. Anyware cheaper to get them from other than carbparts or sudco?
  18. I just put some trail tech lights on this past week. They seem to be very bright. Question is why do the dimm so dam bad when you hit the front or rear brake evey when in higher revs.
  19. Yes there are. Check out sudco.com and theres a list and pics of them.
  20. mine have #s on the side. you could measure them and check with either carbparts.com or sudco.com for there digrams.
  21. 89 j arm banshee for sale $2200.00. New top end with wisco pistons. Frame was sand blasted and has a rear sub frame repair, tors removed, K&n pods, old fmf pipes(nickel is flaking off).
  22. Cpi inframe pipes, 34mm mikuni carbs with pod filters, 18cc domes in the head, stock reeds and cages, and a dune port. I was pretty close with the stock carbs at 320 mains and 27.5 pilots, i couldnt get the neddle lean enough on the bottom clip. elevation is about 5000ft
  23. Ive had both. And with the dune port that i have i would say that the cpi will rev alittle harder. But if you a fit and finish kind of guy i would go with the toomeys. Was not a whole lot of difference in my opion. Im considering sell my new cpi and going back to the toomey, just because of the fit and finish.
