  1. I always greased the front A-arms and all suspension parts that has a zerk fitting before I went out for a ride. Today I removed the swingarm and surprisingly the swingarm came apart very easy. The pivot bolt came right out without any effort. So I cleaned everything up, inspected and re-greased everything and even applied a good amount anti-seize to the pivot bolt and the swingarm bolt collar. I’m going to rebuild the bearing carrier while I got everything taken apart. I don’t have any plans of doing any winter riding.
  2. Well yesterday I was preparing my Banshee for the new Fireball Racing LT A-arm that are coming this week and I came across a problem. Both (right and left) upper A-arm bolts were seized inside of the bearing collar. I tried beating them out with no luck. So I had to carefully cut the OEM A-arms off. Has anyone else have this problem happen before?
  3. I went with Fireball Racing LT A-arms and Elka’s stage 3 front shocks and a standard travel stage 3 rear shock. According to Fireball Racing I should have the a-arms by Dec 19th or 20th and should have the shocks by the end of January according to Elka. Now I have to shop around for an axle.
  4. I tried to make this a poll but it didn’t work. As the title states. which brand of axle is good? Which brand of axle would you buy? 1- Lonestar Axcalibar 2- RPM Dominator ll 3 Tusk Racing Adjustable Axle. Thanks, Jake P.S The cost doesn’t really matter.
  5. Anyone here have the Alba Racing LT A-arms currently on their Banshee? What’s your likes and dislikes about them. I was out today doing some wheelies on my gravel parking lot and when I landed it bent my left upper a-arm right by the upper ball joint. I really don’t want to dump a ton of money into it because work has been really busy and haven’t had much time to ride her. So what’s your opinion. Thanks, Jake
  6. According to Driverline Performance website they say 6 degrees of timing. Look under product description. https://drivelineperformance.com/yamaha-banshee-421cc-big-bore-assassin-cylinder-kit/
  7. Check this out. It’s a live webcam view of Glamis https://boardmanvilletradingpost.com/webcam/
  8. I’m looking for any BHQ members that live in the UK primarily in the Scotland area. I inherited a European motorcycle 10 years ago and from sitting for 10 years I had a part go bad and the part that it need is not available here in the United States. I did some searching online and found a place in Scotland that has the part but they will not ship to the United States. So please I’m looking for some help. I have no problem with paying whatever it cost. If you can help please send me a pm here. Thanks
  9. I just did a Motion Pro TORS delete kit with the idle screws on my banshee this past weekend. Just a little added information depending on the year of your banshee but on my 05 I had to unplug the TORS control unit that is located by the front fuel tank bolt on the left side (clutch lever side) to make my banshee run after doing the delete kit. I totally removed the control unit.
  10. Please disregard this post I figured out the problem I was having.
  11. I purchased a Pingle Power-Flo dual outlet petcock from a BHQ sponsor (Redline Racing) after the OEM petcock started to have problems. So I contacted Redline and Cam told me to follow his instructions on how to install it on his YouTube channel and so I went ahead and watched it and I did exactly what he said and it worked perfectly. My only question is with the dual 5/16” hose barb outlets are facing downwards to much. Is it possible to slightly adjust the hose barb outlets so that they are upwards more? I don’t want to mess with it and cause any type of damage. Thanks Jake
  12. Get yourself a Coolhead with 19 - 22cc domes. Get some GENUINE V-force 4 reeds and a good quality adjustable timing plate . Stay away from the cheap counterfeit chinese knockoff stuff.
  13. When my stock intake boots shit the bucket I came on here and asked the same exact question. It took a few of days before I got to response so I wound up going on eBay and ordered the Chariot racing individual 26-30mm billet intakes and I also ordered their billet reed cages that come with the boyesen power reeds. If I remember correctly I think I paid $350 plus some change shipped to my door and they ship there items pretty fast. I like the setup a noticed a little bit of a difference in the throttle response and powerband. Good luck, Jake
