  3. Whats up guys. I have these carbs and I decided I do not want to run them. I've taken them apart and cleaned them. Looks like they are running 200 main jets and I haven't looked at the pilot but if you're interested let me know and I will check for you. So, I am looking to trade for some other parts. What I have: - Two complete Kehnin carbs, one K&N style air filter and joint (if I find the others I will send it too, I'd imagine they are together somewhere but I'm not sure I even have them), throttle cable (needs 1 new adjuster), needles and assembly, caps. - Chinese "Stock" Carbs What I need: - Stock carbs (complete), boots, the connector pipe, reeds and reed cages, spacers and the bolts if you have them. - Anti-T.O.R.S. throttle cable for stock carbs - Air filters/stock air box and filter(s) What I want: - Toomey T5 pipes (or similar): Don't care if they are pretty just minimal dents - DC Conversion kit I will add to this once I know more. Cash can be added on either end. Let's work out a deal. 4. Hey everyone! So I got it off myself. Had to cut it off. I managed to do it without damaging the stator or the crank! They key was in fact lodged in between the flywheel and crank. Thanks for all of your suggestions! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  5. I have a set of these and am just curious as to what they're worth. Thanks. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  6. Update time. I finally got that jacked flywheel off. Split the cases (so easy) and it looks like one of the gears got WAAAAY too hot! The shift forks look fine and the drum moves the forks when the transmission is out so it isn't that. Backstory for the 1989: I bought it and the guy told me it only had third and fourth gear. My guess is that purple gear is second gear and it wouldn't downshift because the gear wouldn't move. Someone chime in though that actually know what they are talking about. I'd also be interested in a diagram as to what everything on the transmission is and does. The crank looks really good. It isn't separated but it also isn't welded so I'm going to get that done before I start building. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  7. Jetting is part of the tuning process. Jets are used to get a perfect air/fuel mixture. The colder the air, the more fuel you need so the bigger jet you need. The hotter the air the smaller jet you need. Cold air is more sense than hot air, that's why you'll see seasonal jetting threads and questions around. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  10. Just a small update. I got some more parts from the guy that sold me the bikes. The 2001 was running 70mm pistons, and a stroker crank which explains the gigantic carbs that came off that bike. I am 99% sure I am just going to go back to stock because I want the reliability. He also gave me another stock welded crank which is nice so now I have basically two top ends for this bike and an extra stroker crank. I ordered all of my parts on Friday so you guys should be seeing some good progress this week! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  11. Correction: the stock looking carbs do have the TORS delete screw. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. I picked up these Banshees last week and am waiting for all my parts to come in the mail. In the meantime I'm working on non-engine stuff. So I pulled these carbs and I am wondering about them. The new ones: are these cheap Chinese carbs? Are they any good? These are budget builds, but I'm not willing to put these on of they are junk. The Keihin's: I've heard this is a good brand but I do not believe these belong to this model quad. Both have a choke, which is weird how would that even work? They came off of the running quad so they obviously worked, but are they ideal? Are they better than stock? Should I just get stockers and replace them? The made in Japan (MIC) ones: I believe these are stock, correct me if I am wrong. But these actually appear to belong to the Banshee. One more question: is TORS already deleted on all of these? I don't see the TORS delete screw anywhere on any of them. They both also had just regular screw caps. Thanks in Advance! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. I'll offer $170 for the transmission shipped. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  14. Do you happen to have time this weekend? I could use some help cutting that flywheel off and removing a couple of screws. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  16. Well Spurdy posted some pictures of his above and it doesn't look to bad or hard to do. Like he said, just have to take your time so you don't damage the crank or stator. I'm tired of dealing with this haha I have a trip at the end of December and this damn flywheel is stopping me from moving forward! Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  17. I'm not too sure. I'm on a budget and just bought that cheap welder to see what would happen. I'm not surprised it didn't work. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  18. This welder did not have gas. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  19. I had that cheap ass welder on Max and that was still the result. I returned it and HF deemed it to be defective. I think I'm going to just cut it off as suggested by another user. I really appreciate your advice man. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  20. I had the cheap one. It only had two settings Min and Max. I had it on Max and I feel like I had the wire speed at a good rate and it still did nothing but spitter spatter. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  21. What tool did you use to make these cuts? Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

  23. Hey guys! So I was recommended to weld my flywheel puller on to my fucked flywheel to get it off. Well, it didn't work and I am a shitty welder. I also don't think the welder was getting hot enough (Harbor Freight ). Oh well, it was worth a try. So, does anyone know of a shop preferably in Orange County, California that can remove this flywheel? I would like to keep the stator intact and not mar the crank also. But I have a feeling this thing is going to need to be pressed off and if that doesn't work, cut off. And if it has to be cut, I can say goodbye to my stator.
  24. It's a harbor freight welder. It only has a Min and Max setting. Figured I'd try. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
