I have a set of Dune Edition Elkas, setup for 215lb rider on +2 arms or a set of T5's (exhaust, stingers and silencers) that I'd like to trade for a set of the OEM white and red plastics off a 2004 - 2006 shee. May also trade for a set of Full bores depending on color and condition. The closer to original the better but I would consider cut, no painted plastics please. Its either or on the shocks and exhaust, not both. The shocks have normal wear and tear but overall in very nice condition. One of the pipe has some surface rust noticeable up close but otherwise good condition and look nice on the bike. Pictures upon request to people genuinely interested, I'm kind of posting this on a whim while bored at work and don't have any pictures handy. I can add cash on my end for the right setup. Not looking to sell either outright at this point, once my build goes along I will be listing a bunch of stuff I no longer need, including these parts.

+1. I propose the for sale section rules should be rewritten to allow for blind auctions only. We don't get to see the parts (or know if they exist for that matter) and then we all bid against each other until the seller is kind enough to accept the highest bid.

How about a spring rate calculator? Anyone know what their springs are on a dual rate elka shock for a 200lb desert/dune rider on stock arms? I contacted Elka and was told my shocks were originally setup for my weight but on +2 arms. If I'm going to rebuild I might as well put the proper springs on there.

That's what I was afraid of... I know it's easily obtained from Race Tech, I might try and reverse engineer from there if I can't find Elka's info. I have a couple sets of used Elkas and would like to learn how to do valving myself.

Rather than modify the Sniper stingers to fit I would rather buy the Shearer Stingers but don't really want to drop $400 on a new set unless I can recoup some of my money from the Snipers. I'm not in a hurry as I'm just about to start my 4mil build and also have a complete set of CPI pipes to try out. If anyone knows where I can buy cheaper Shearer setup please let me know, the $400 was a quote from FAST.

I have a set of stingers and silencers for Sniper pipes that I would like to trade for stingers and silencers for small bore, in frame, Shearer pipes. The sniper setup is in excellent condition and I can provide pictures upon request. Would be willing to sell the sniper setup outright to fund the purchase of Shearer silencers but they wouldn't be cheap. New Shearer silencers/stingers are $400 so I'm thinking $250/shipped on the sniper setup.

Thanks for the suggestion but I prefer to run the tube if I can find one reasonably priced. The bike has a boost bottle now and I'm not really a fan. Anyone want to trade? Maybe you guys that have plugged the holes have one laying around you'd like to get rid of?

I agree its a good deal if you need the 19cc domes. I'm sure someone will come along and buy it.
Actually a decent deal. You would have to buy studs, and domes regardless. Better just send your stock head into someone. Good luck with sell!

Thank you for your interest. I will take some pictures and put them up this weekend. Do you know if the plastics are the OEM from an 04-06? I believe the white in those years is a blue pearl which is different from the older white plastics (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). Also I call the hood red but my girlfriend would probably correct me and call it cranberry or something lol. It is different from the red used in all older model plastics. I'm really only interested in these:
