  1. Guessing a complete overhaul. What would that cost me?
I unfortunately don't have time right now to do a complete overhaul. I usually charge $200-$300 for an overhaul or $80 for a service. Just a hobby for me though so its based around my free time. Services only take 30 minutes but overhaul is the better part of a day for me. You should check out Jogaca for an overhaul, he does good work. I posted some before during and after pictures just because I like looking at them lol.7c1e1d3de44213bf48924c8fe108a869.jpg5f4db8ce6410ed80c4e6fc226a4098b5.jpga55e4d5e2be8f5d92367fa82d398229d.jpg264ff5b5fa2edb14f2521f01ca3a3992.jpg63eb3b6a4b17308b92dc5274551c15c6.jpg02c27f009e8d66e6beea8757871258e3.jpg70a777222b3e941d7732bdbf225db0f3.jpg

I like the idea of getting rid of the air box and just using 2 filters.

Im not looking for any HP gain, just making the thing easier to work on.

Can anyone suggest a filter ?  Mainly ill be in dusty envirnment, and occasional mud puddles.  Id really like to be able to stay away from filters id have to oil.

It has a single K&N filter in the box right now.

There is no such thing as a filter you don't have to oil. As others have said use foam if you ride dusty conditions. If the "puddles" are large enough to get the filters wet you really should stick with an airbox.

  3. ^ This. Alba long travel arms are cheap and will be close to the shock length you're looking at (call for 17.5"). There is a lot more to shock setup then proper length though. You need to know about valving, spring rate, uncompressed and compressed length, otherwise there is a good chance you're just wasting your money.

  4. Purple/Yellow: $200

    Black/Yellow: $200

    White/Black: $125

    $450 for all three.

Buyer pays shipping and fees or picks up in San Diego. Will trade for nice aftermarket parts. Shipping likely in the neighborhood of $100. Please message me for more pictures or information.39172b50b377b99950116d957231270d.jpgc2788f2a9b0f3fedeaf7d8d70cf013eb.jpg31a422d189ebacb2b0de01691ac54afa.jpg067364b72c8fce589721ecd9e9b41987.jpg

That's odd because whenever I load my quad solo, I tip it vertical, roll it to my truck on the rear wheels, and drop the fronts onto the tail gate then lift the rears in. And I've never noticed it pissing oil before

It either had the vent tube and recently fell off or you were low on oil and recently changed your oil. If its full of oil and no vent tube it will dump oil every time you lift vertical.

  6. My banshee has always been a pain. I love it and hate it. I bought it for cheap it was a piece of junk and still is, although slightly less. It has a cracked case and all kinds of other issues (the case is fixed with JB weld). But recently I started leaking oil again for god knows why (I left the bike parked for 2 months and it wasn't leaking. Rode it once and it leaked out half its oil) anyways.... besides that... I tipped it up vertical to look at the JB weld job on the cracked case... and it started pissing oil out from a nipple on the back side of the case. Any ideas why? Any info helps.
That's the case breather, will always dump oil when bike is vertical. There should be a hose attached to that nipple to keep crap out of the engine. Put a new hose on there then when you lift vertical move that hose higher than the back half of engine.

Kawa and screamer... who has the yellow flamed stock le's. ... we're you wanting to trade for white fullbores?

That would be me. I saw the ad and figured I'd throw them out there. I have no plans on using them. Once I get some time to get them out of the attic along with 2-3 other sets I have no use for I was going to put them up for sale. They have been cut though and while in nice shape they are not mint.
