It sounds normal to me but maybe I'm just too old... I'll let others chime in.

No, sounds like rubbing I know I'm not tripping out cause I can hear it clearly if I focus on the noise, maybe it hard because I can't describe it right but for me it sounds like a womp womp
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYou sure its not your kicker rattling? You know what I'm talking about right? If not, hold onto your kicker while revving it and see if the noise you're talking about goes away. If thats not it then I don't hear it.

I cut the video to just the parts where it makes the noise, if you have earphones or just put your phone in full blast and try and listen for a "womp womp" sound between the revs.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI still don't hear anything unusual there. You're not talking about the rattle for the kicker are you?

Where in CA? I'm in So Cal and would be happy to help if you're around me.

All I know is my bike isn't sounding right I'll try and get a better video today if it happens again.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkMy point was when the bike is sitting trans oil is static as the cylinders/crank and trans are two different sealed systems. The oil in the trans doesn't provide lubrication to the crank or pistons, that comes from the oil in your gas. It may be the case that you need to check your transmission fluid level but I don't think you can diagnosis it through revving the bike. I have seen lots of bad advice (and lots of good to be fair) given on Facebook groups for the sake of entertaining themselves. Just be careful what you listen to. When in doubt get yourself a leak down tester and check for air leaks, then do plug chops to test jetting. Hard to blow up a bike when these are good, easy to if they're not.

Some other people heard it also and said to make sure tranny oil is full
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkFrom revving the bike while its sitting still? You need to stay off Facebook, sounds to me like people are messing with you!

Ok,
I'll check for it tonight in my storage, I know I have a nice one, just not sure on domes. Will let you know tonight or tomorrow.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkSounds good just let me know. Domes would be nice but not a deal breaker, let me know if you have the extended studs and head nuts etc. please and thank you.

Hello, might be interested in the shocks, I have a new, in the package trinity stage lV head and domes, have to check the size of domes, I may also have a pro design nice condition. I will look and get back to you
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHi. I'd like to stay away from Trinity heads because of the unique dome design but I am interested in the Pro Design. Please let me know if you have it and what comes with it and see if we can make a deal. Thanks.

Prices include shipping (to lower 48, elsewhere is additional) and PayPal fees. Please look closely at the pics and message me with any questions (more pics upon request, I reached the limit for tapatalk):
- Elka Dune Edition ($320): Stock length, setup for +2 arms 215lb rider. Fresh oil, bump stops and nitrogen, haven't been ridden since.
- Brand New NOS OEM CDI ($180): See part number for compatibility.
- Trinity intakes for 33-35mm carbs ($65): Includes everything shown in picture. Boots in good shape.
- Keihin PJ34 ($150): Good condition. One has wear on jet nut from clutch arm as shown in picture. Nut still functions as it should.
- Sniper stingers and silencers ($180): No dents or major scratches, very nice condition with only normal wear and tear. A good polish and they'd be like new.
- 22cc BB 4mil domes ($35): Ready to run, bought by mistake, thought they were small bore.
Things I'd trade for: Red/White 04/05 (only) plastics, 33pwk, pro design or Chariot cool head, 20-22mm SB 4mil domes, pro mod trans, dual pingel.

Bump. $165 shipped.
Are both of the choke knobs good and hold out when pulled. Any damage to the slides (or anything else for that matter)? If not I'll take them.

I'd love to have the carbs but think I was second to the party on facebook. Also want some of the motor parts if you decide to separate.

pwk bowls will do just fine I ran the same setup (running stock carbs now) just make sure to run a pingel like the above stated
Why did you go back to stock carbs? I'm building a 4mil and have some 35 PWKs I was going to use. Would I be better off with the 28s I run now?
-
Do you have any engine parts? I'm looking for a 4mil crank, billet clutch basket and billet intakes with built in crossover for 35mm carbs.

I've been collecting parts for a 4mil build for a while and almost ready to get started. One of the last pieces I need in the crank. I have stock bore 4 mil cylinders ported by HJR I bought from another member. I was thinking of going with a HJR crank and having Kevin cut some domes for me. I noticed the HJR cranks are ~$100 cheaper than most places sell the hot rods. I'm all for saving money but wanted to know if there is anything I should be concerned with in terms of quality or longevity. Anyone have any experience with the HJR 4mil long rod crank? Anyone know what brand they are?

Here are some pictures of the Elkas. Bump stops are cracking but otherwise in good shape. I ran out of time to get my bike out and take some pictures of the pipes but I will. I also want to mention that I have a set of race cut 03 limited edition plastics (good condition - a little faded and need the cuts cleaned up but not busted) and a set of painted black race cut fiberglass plastics that need some tlc. They have some paint cracking and chips. I will include either of those sets if someone wants them. To summarize one set of plastics and either a set of Elkas or T5s for your plastics as shown above.

I appreciate your interest but am really looking for that particular combo. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear in my original post, didn't mean to waste your time.
Banshee weird noise after install new pod filters

No lol, all I can hear is the kicker rattle. At the end when you move the phone closer to the filters I hear what I would call a whistling noise but both my banshees have pod filters and make the same noise when they are sucking air. We must be talking about a different noise that I'm not capable of hearing.
