  1. I recently bought a used lonestar axle/carrier setup for my banshee that came with honda pattern hubs. All of my wheels are banshee pattern so thought I'd see if anyone who has converted to honda has a pair laying around they'd be interested in swapping for. I would also sell outright is someone wants to make an offer. Parts where off a bike setup for street and have never seen dirt. This is for the hubs/studs only, no other parts.

  2. I have a set of the Alba LT arms with Fox Foat Evol RC2 on mine. I just recently did this upgrade and am quite happy with it. I cannot comment on the added benefits (and expense) of Roll Design, Fireball, etc... as I've only ridden stock and this setup. Also, if you search around the yfz and razor forums you can find 10% Alba coupons. I live local to them in San Diego and went there in person. They were very nice and helpful and gave me a smoking deal.

  3. Put the yfz shocks on the Alba arms then? Would at least get ya headed in the right direction. Pick up a set off eBay for around $100.

YFZ shocks are ~2" longer than stock banshee shocks, not a good idea on Alba arms IMO. If you wanted to go that route buy the Full flight +3 +1 arms designed for a banshee with YFZ shocks.

  4. I have an entire front end off an 06 Yfz450 I was going to put on mine but will probably never get around to it. It has the arms, tie rods, spindles, hubs, rotors, calipers and shocks, all in good-great shape. There are also 3 extra arms in good shape with damaged ball joint threads, could be nice spares if you changed the ball joints. I'd take $400 plus shipping for everything, if you're interested let me know and I'll snap some pictures.

  5. Don't put yfz450 suspension on a banshee. Buy banshee specific suspension.

Thank you for your input. May I ask why you say this? I understand the ball joint geometry if you don't use the 450 hubs but if you swap everything over what is the drawback? I'm just looking for something temporary until I can save up to get the suspension I want. Has anyone out there done the complete swap and have horror stories I'm unaware of? The feedback I've read seems pretty positive.

  6. I've been looking into upgrading my banshee suspension but don't have the money for the full long travel/ elka setup I'd like so I got the complete front suspension off an 05 YFZ450 I'd like to put on my banshee (arms, spindles, hubs, calipers, tie rods and shocks for $200). I know a few years back there were some guys making spacers to make this mod a little easier. Anyone know where I can find a set of those? Also, will the stock YFZ 450 tie rods work or do I need extended tie rod tubes?
