  1. picked up a a arm and shock package from alba for my banshee build. my first time buying from them and i went with them mostly because they had the best bang for buck. got the a arms and the right lower had a shock mount welded on crooked, very crooked. made a call they sent a new one no questions asked. got the new one today while nothing wrong with it fitmet wise, it is apparently an older design that collars around the lower shock bolt. where as the new ones, the ones i had ordered do not have. would have worked just fine but i am anal. so made another phone call. as soon as i told them the issue, they said they would correct it. there sending a new design arm 2 day fedex to make up for it awsome! we will see how this one is. i must say they have great customer service and stand behind there product. if my shee wasnt torn down to a bare frame waiting for powder coat id might be upset about this slight issue. the arms seem decent built, there are some under sized/under filled welds i might reweld. but for the price i am happy with them. even with these small issues. just my 2cents
  2. got my frame gusseted and removed some tabs, before i send it for powder coat. any of you guys remove or make new wiring harness holders? the stock ones are flimsy and chip the paint if bent to much..
  3. decided to rebuild my oem shock. its brand new still has the tags, supposibly set up for my 200lb ass. there 650 on ebay. i will sell er for 600 shipped. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  4. 600 shipped. their 650 on ebay
  5. so i just recieved my elka lagacy shock package. only wanted the fronts but it was cheaper to buy the whole shabang. the rear is pretty but heavy and i dont like the idea of clamping the resi to my frame. all its going to do is rub through the powder coat. cheapest price i got for a rear oem rebuild and revalve is 160ish. thinking of just selling the elka rebuilding the oem and using the money for other better parts for the build
  6. 200-215 Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  7. not the kickern but the kicker idle gear. after removing it the bushing is worn.. research shows me this is a common problem Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  8. this is my first time tearing into a banshee. first the clutch boss is scuffed up on the outside. i couldnt see what could have been rubbing it, possibly from clutch tool from previous clutch replacment? second the kick gear on the stub shaft with the c clip has a bunch of side play, normal? 17. well ordered the whole alba kit, 1452 should be here next week
  18. so im doing a build, getting ready to weld gusstes to the frame. now ive messured every way possible with out putting a robot romer arm on it. and best i can come up with depending where and how i measure. is the frame is between 1/16th to 1/4in square from front to rear sub frame.. normal or no? i dont want to dumo money in a twisted frame
  19. so alba will sell me a lt kit with just the front shocks. only saves 342 bucks over getting the fronts and the rear, rebuilding the oem rear will cost 120-250. is the oem rear worth getting rebuilt or should i just get the new elka
  20. upsate ny, my gussets should be cut this morning
  21. just got off phone with alba, there long travel a arms brake lines clamps and just the front legacy shocks comes to 1,110... not bad
  22. called a local shock builders, the fox podiums are indeed rebuildable and can be shimmed for proper stroke.. problem is the only adjustment is preload on the springs.. soo after paying for a set in good shape and getting them worked your looking a 400-500. not sure its worth it
  23. made up my mock cardboard pieces yesturday. should be cut off the laser at work in a day or two.
