  1. Use the vitos needles. stock pilot and 290 300 main should be good going into fall. try needle in the middle or 4th clip. lean it out until it cleans up as it transitions into the powerband
  2. r50 cant be run in ethanol pump gas??
  3. could try a tighter plug gap, ive heard of that making starting impossible on SOME setups, rarely occurs im sure
  4. man i would get a tether kill switch and a new wireharness with all the bs cut out lights and all and relocate the cdi behind the tank
  5. ive ran mine over powder coat with no spark issues, just sayin. might not be the issue
  6. weird. as far as the flywheel no, usually it wont cause a no spark situation, it will usually just break up at higher rpms. maybe once over your wire harness, is it an oem harness as well? where did you order it from? id pull the plugs too and take a look at em see what they look like just to make sure
  7. That was good advice that you were given. Vitos 350hp? what is that. Im assuming your talking about crank shaft? Driveline performance makes great crank shafts as well at an affordable price. All assembled, welded and trued in house.
  8. 1. sand blast 2. prime 3. paint 2-3 coats depending on part 4. clear coat
  9. they are likely fake because ive been seeing a lot of china stuff from them lately like stators carbs etc
  10. I will say this, beginning on a banshee as your primary bike takes patience to learn all the ins and outs, 3 years ago i knew basically nothing. Learning to tune is a very important thing. I run the same jets year round because, its not a drag bike where im racing for money or competition, so I dont need max power year round. I run on the rich side basically ALL summer. So if im going to the dunes, the extra load or hills wont matter because im jetted safe to begin with, then come fall my jetting is perfect. Then once it drops under 45 im done riding because its cold af. Also if your dialed in on your needle and pilot, The main jet and air fuel screw is the only thing you have to adjust. (takes 5 mins) Just trying to make a case for the banshee, because it sounds like from the sounds of it all the stuff youve been buying, needs help. unless your going buy a almost new 700. go for it. squish is the clearance between the piston and dome. yes you can adjust the needle position on the slide with the shim. clips in and out. the top is lean the bottom is rich. needle marking on the needle by the top.
  11. shearer pipes and gearing if you want to just run what you have to make it more competitive id imagine. A dune bike and an asphalt bike are setup completely different, so if you run what you have with a standard transmission and fmf pipes dont expect to be competitive. An override tranny is a must when it comes to for real drag racing.
  12. not sure ill have to ask him im sure he will give you a deal if you buy it all together
  13. if you are going to piece together a motor I have a friend that has some stock cylinder, head and pistons he will sell you, along with a stock stroke crank. cases can be found for 250 ish and up. if you are interested. txt me 2482147918
  14. if that motor is good to run 750 is a great deal on that. join the banshee hq swap page on facebook too
