  1. I have always ran amsoil 10w40 motorcycle oil. Any 10w40 motorcycle oil should be fine though.
  2. Agreed. and that's pretty sad too
  3. I think everything sounds fine other then that swingarm being too long.
  4. I like Kenda Klaw Xc's for everything. My holeshots are still like new and just don't hook up in anything. Spins like a top fuel dragster. I have a few different sets of tires and wheels. The Klaws are my favorites.
  5. Can you see if this guy is using two accounts from the same I.P. ? I'm thinking this is someones online "multiple personality"
  6. I have bad luck when I name bikes/cars ect. So I don't anymore
  7. Whenever I've experienced this it ended up needing a bore and pistons and rings. Should just do it all as one with the porting ect and whatever else you do. Last time I rebuilt a snowmobile that had staggered compression like that I got lucky, The piston skirts were cracked and ready to break off.
  8. Yeah, that's pretty steep
  9. Great post, those are the guidelines I follow. I run a mix of premium pump and race gas in My banshee, CR's and the Chainsaw. Gas is pretty crappy nowdays. My stock head is milled and rechambered but the compression isn't real high. I honestly can't remember. But when I'm putting a bigger load on the machine like sand I go with the richer mixtures for any machine I'm running. The chainsaw calls for it, and whenever I use it it's getting flogged, so that's just a good idea. For hard pack and general trail riding when I'm not running wide open almost alld the time I go 50 to 1. Baisic motorwork for my banshee, I'm not the fastest or slowest machine out there. But I can beat the kids on 450's and that's all I cared about Some ppl on here have alot of miss -placed aggression too, lmao
  10. Merry Christmas!
  11. Golden Spectro guy here, I run it 50-1 most of the time. For Anything like dunes, or for my chainsaw I go to 40-1. I run Spectro in everything 2 stroke that I own.
  12. lol that thread was spot on

  13. 33, Michigan
  14. lol honestly never had any issues. Have duned with em, trail rode. And did every jump on the now closed down Dusty D's in Standish michigan. I stiffened up the rear shock after I put these on and did a little grinding like the first post.
  15. 1) What type of aftermarket exhaust do you have? T5's 2) What type of air filter do you have? K/n 2 into 1 3) What type of airbox do you have? none 4) Whats your elevation? 712ft 5) What size pilot jets are you using? I can't remember! 6) What size mains are you using? 370's 7) What temperature is your banshee jetted for? 70 8) Do you have a port job? Trinity MX/TT port, kinda mild no boyesen ports, center bridge isn't knife edged 9) What kind of carbs? Mikuni TM flat slides, boyesen rad valves too 10) What size carbs? 34mm
  16. I don't know yet, I got some PM's about em too. Wasn't sure if I'd sell this stuff yet or not. I've only done local pickup, never shipped anything out before. When I sell stuff I don't look to get rich, just help someone who really needs or wants it ect.
  17. Lol I've had shots for hepetitis, didn't know I had any Michigan specific aids. I don't get laid very often, guess I should be more careful next time. HAHA
  18. We aren't all like that :/
  19. Cool, thanks man. Maybe I'll end up selling them and the J-arms to someone who needs them. That would explain why I have both. The frame and motor I ended up using is from a 97. I think I have stock carbs in that lot too. If I ever do a ride I'll bring this stuff and sell it to someone who needs it. I'll go sort the pile out tomorrow morning. I just put up a new garage, had to move all that stuff here. I kind of want to have a late 80's racer looking quad to go with this other one. I shoulda kept the DG's for that bike. Sold em dirt cheap.
  20. lol they were like that when I got them. I got extra tanks, shocks, pipes, hubs, a-arms, J-arms, intakes ect. I built my bike out of a pile of parts. It was a repo bike, the guy hacked it up when they knabbed it. I sold some other pipes and put New T5's on it to pass the sound test, and to have sparkies. I'll give that a shot. They are kinda solid, but look really bad in the pictures I did my window trim for my Nova on a wheel like that. Not sure if I could get these pipes to look that good though.
  21. lol I'll see what I can do. I was thinking t3's. No arguement from me, they are pretty rusty. I think I can make em decent again though. If I get another junk bike I'll try them on it.
  22. I have a hell of a parts pile, these were one of the sets of pipes that came with this banshee. I'm not sure what they are though.
  23. I have tons of parts laying around. (I wish I had some extra cylinders though) Tommorow I'll take some pictures of some different sets of pipes, and see if anyone can tell me what they are. I think they might be t3's but I'm not sure.
  24. I was just randomly looking up parts for sale, porting. Set-ups ect. And I must say it's been thoroughly entertaining. I like the no filter experience. Sometimes I'm affriad to ask questions, but it's more fun than face book or twitter imo. The Trinity thread was classic. I have an old trinity port job on my bike and it actually runs good. Was pretty surprised after reading 25 pages. I was going to buy another set of stock cylinders next summer and have one of the sight sponsors port em. See if they can get me a step up in the high RPM range, over the mildly ported cylinders I have now.
