  1. ok there is 2 parts to this post 1) looking to get a new exaust setup for my bone stock banshee iv been leaning towards toomeys but I dont know what would be better for a stock bike the t5s or t6s I do plan on changing the reeds porting it and eventually bore it what would my best bet be for either of those 2 sets? 2)I currently ride at sea level and up at around 2500ft with changing the pipe i know you need to change the jets but would the one that come with the kits be fine or would i have to buy some different sizes? the t5s come with 2-270 and 2-280 jets the t6s dont list what jets they come with im guessing the same thing.....any input is greatly appreciated.
  2. The guy who had the banshee before me put a billet in when her rebuilt it and I dont know how but it looks bent, its all chewed up and the cover is warn down where the impeller was rubbing against it. any ideas why this would have happened
  3. Also is the billet impeller worth the extra money for the "35% more cooling" or just get a normal OEM one?
  4. currently looking for a rebuild kit for my water pump because my impeller is shot and keep finding all different types of kits with different seals what do I need to go forward with this other then the impeller.......or if someone could post a link to a site that has the right kit.
  5. The rims and tires are brand new i got them from the guy for $250 the tires alone should be around $200 my set of maxxis razrs are shot and just needed a new set so jumped on these when I saw them
  6. Its a mix of both but mostly sand its basically just a big strip that we take to get from one area to another the tires do seem really stiff even with them almost not having air
  7. found someone by me selling a rear set of 6ply holeshot hd's on rock standard beadlock wheels brand new for insanely cheap wondering how well do these tires work in sand I mostly ride trails but a few sand pits here and there would these work?
  8. just ordered one off ebay what mounting issues did you have with the bigger radiator
  9. I know that my shift shaft is a little messed up considering I cant shift from first to second at high rpms, but a bunch of my friends are doing a end of the year ride this weekend and the parts to fix it dont come until next week what would the worst case scenario be if I went riding without fixing it
  10. same thing around by me when i first started looking for a banshee there were ones that didnt even run for 3grand the best was seeing one that the guy put new plastics on it and powdercoated the frame motor looked like it was left outside and he wanted 10grand for his "show bike"
  11. saw that last night while I was just messing around he could have at least cleaned it first
  12. Do you think this is still considered a banshee?
  13. rubber mallet and make sure the rim isnt cold
  14. so if you had a stock banshee you would do the 22s and not worry about any power loss?
  15. If I change the rear tires I have on my banshee now that are 20x10x9 would I lose alot of low end power changing to 22x11x9 or a 20x11x9?
  16. would a clymer manual tell me how to do it, I dont have to much experience with clutches and transmissions I dont wanna rip it apart trying to wing it if the manual has it in there.
  17. when I first got my bike it shifted fine never really put to much time on it maybe an hour tops changed the oil and clutch cable on it and got the time to ride it for a good 4hrs when trying to launch it from first a few times it wouldnt go from first to second it would just get stuck in neutral and when that happened I would try to shift up and it would grind a little, its a bone stock bike. Any ideas?
  18. I was in a rush when I made that last post I did the leakdown test everything was fine ran it and found a pinhole in the back of the radiator
  19. did a leakdown test theres a hole in the back of the radiator buddy of mine is gonna give me his stock one to replace it
  20. So it was the first time actually riding my banshee since I had bought it and I had been riding for about 3 1/2 hours with 5-10min breaks here and there and at the end of the day me and a friend started messing around doing some races after the second race did a couple donuts then headed back to my truck to put it away and it just started pouring steam out of the release tube any ideas why it might have happened a few of my friends have had banshees for years and not one of them has ever had that happened
  21. Im looking to get a new rear shock for my stock 98 banshee I want something thats good for trails that wont break the bank
