I just got some exhaust clamps from him he is a excellent seller. He sent me good pics and a good description they were in my opinion better shape than what he described. He went above and beyond and out of his way to help me out. Never hesitate to deal with this guy he will not do you wrong.

Yeah i really wanna take it out but not gonna till i replace the base gasket and check the jets. I do wanna do alot of motor work but id like to run it as long as i can once i change gaskets and jetted it correctly.

I was wondering about what you banshee gods thought about my deal. I traded a 1985 honda fl350r odyssey for a 1996 banshee with t5`s bored .06 over milled head not sure how much was taken off. I was told just enough to still run pump gas a few other blingy things. The bike needs work it has leaking exhaust couplers leaking base gasket and probably needs proper jetting. I was just curious if you guys think i made a decent deal or not?

I was kinda wondering the same thing as lowidenfast except i have 18 11/10's and i am havin a real hard time findin tires that size. Anybody have any ideas?

Just some advice im just as new as you to this site. Dont take things so personal and when someone gives advice use it dont just forget about it and ask the same question again. Theres tons of good info here probably better than you will get anywhere else because of all the experience. These guys are very smart. And hey guys talk shit thats the way of life the older you get the more you will see it so just get used to it.

That looks like some kind of plateing. Have you tried real fine steel wool? It doesnt scratch chrome other than that you would need a stiff polishing wheel on a bench grinder with some cutting polish/rouge theres a thread on here that has some real good advice on polishing pipes. Most of that stuff you can pick up at a big rig truck parts store. Thats where i get it from.

Ok small update. I havent done a leakdown or compression test yet been kinda busy. But today i needed a little excitement so i took the banshee up and down the road for about 30 minutes. I noticed the base gasket on the left side is leaking just slightly on the left hand side. Same side that cuts out WOT in 6th gear. Do you guys think this could be the reason why it does cut out? I will do a leakdown/compression test and check jets and clean my carbs and replace the base gasket asap. Just curious about what you guys think is why im asking.
