Well i got myself some Toomey T5s headers and pipes, proflow sistem with k&n filter, sprokets 13 T up front, 41T on the back, my carbs are stock never have rejeted, please tell me will i need rejeting? And if so which size of jets should i buy?

mine had that issue, its probably the crank seal, check if your oil level is going down

or if the bike overheated too bad could also be the cylinder head that cracked and its also letting compression through :/

if your radiator is spitting the coolant, its definetly the gasket, its probably al toasted because its old or something, or its to thin, the radiator spitting thing its because your gasket isnt doing its job probably not sealed correctly and its letting the compression through to the coolant, and basically its boiling and evaporating it because its too hot :/

Well my banshee is mostly stock, everything is stock but my pipes, i got some T5 , what could be my next step? what should i change next? basicaly i want it to go faster xD i want to know what can i change so i will feel a difference on my shee

Yep, after 15 min of riding -.-, but its allright since it didnt melt the freaking pistons and the rings xD i just have to find some nice gaskets and it should be done, everything else on the bike is in pretty nice shape

mmm they were made of laminated aluminun i think and the weren like thick enough... and they were fixed with shellac gasket cement, and i saw that the shellac went into the cool head and some holes in the cool head were blocked so there was some holes in the cool head that weren circulating the coolant right, so i think thats the main reason... im going to make some laminated asbestos gaskets, and seal them with gray gasket maker, i think that should do the trick

Hey thank you for the advise, i tore it down and thank god it wasnt so bad, my pistons are all right and so are the sleeves, the rings are fine, aparently the gasket making was really crappy, the gaskets totally melted, both the cilinder head gaskets and the ones from the cylinder bases, im so relieved i didnt melt the freaking thing off i just have to get myself a really good gaskets, any advice? sorry couldnt take pictures :s next time i will

sometimes you should check the seal that that keeps the oil from the tranni going into the engine, if that seal is not working anymore that could be your mistery resolved, hey guys i really need asisstance with a topic i posted yesterday please help meee

i was riding, i had just started the bike like 15 min ago, didnt even run it hard cause my shocks arent working well, and suddenly, it turned of, and there was smoke coming out of the base of the cilinder, im pretty sure it had coolant in the radiator cause i had just cheked it, and it had oil, the mix was done right... what could had happened? maybe the gasket got toasted, i didnt even tried to start it up again, cause i was afraid i might just have burned the engine... i dont know... what do you think... when i checked the water, after it turned off, it was gone... dont know how could it overheat if it had water and oil???? gaskets? what do you think? HELPP
