  1. I'd let the pros decide whether the cylinders only need to go to 66.5. If it was me, I'd invest in something new. You can find some used stock jugs on a smaller bore and have them ported or go with Driveline or some CP cylinders.
  2. Didn't you see the east coast live thread?
  3. Also, we're gonna have shirts made. If you want a shirt made, I need a deposit at least 2 months before the race. I'll get prices asap. It will list names. They will be derogatory. They are non-refundable. ISO purple BHQ hat. Sent from the whoops.
  4. Fixed. ISO purple BHQ hat. Sent from the whoops.
  5. So 6-22 people. That's gonna require some music and more lodging.
  6. If I had the money, I'd buy it today and take vacation to come get it.
  7. Take the flywheel off and use a normal key. Then set the timing plate to your desired spec. More than a few offset keys have sheared. Backfiring is a case of the combustion partially taking place in the exhaust, caused by either an overly lean mixture that accumulates into enough fuel to combust or either the timing is far enough off for the mixture to ignite while the exhaust port is exposed.
  8. Mikuni for example, a 200 to a 210 is one size. Once you get into the 600 range, one size up is a 650 iirc. One size is the very next available, whatever it may be. ISO purple BHQ hat. Sent from the whoops.
  9. Then why didn't you say that to begin with or after the several times you were asked? I don't see where a jig with a dewalt drill is going to be any easier than just putting it in a vice. Accuracy isn't that important unless you're trying to go huge on them. I've never been able to tell much difference in boost port angles anyway. That's why I don't even consider a jig.
  10. Let's try this another way. What will be doing the drilling? The time it takes once you learn to do it freehand isn't that high.
  11. They're priced that way because they're worth it. Race position pegs, huge protection area, solid as hell, and generally at your doorstep within 3 weeks from ordering (ships from Canada). ISO purple BHQ hat. Sent from the whoops.
  12. Factory 43, maybe. I had about 3" of room with 18s and a -1" swinger.
  13. Vacation approved. ISO purple BHQ hat. Sent from the whoops.
  14. I wanna hit the ramp this time. ISO purple BHQ hat. Sent from the whoops.
  15. If you want to get back to that page and don't want to have to come back to this thread to remember where it is, just come to the BHQ homepage and click on BHQ Tech Info along the top banner.

  17. Well now that the search for the best builder is now over...
  18. While I've heard very bad things about his porting, I've heard more than a few bad things about the remainder of his work.
  19. What jets are in it now? With that gearing, you should be touching upper 60s with 18s and low-mid 70s with 20s. I've been on a few bikes with a 2-1 setup and they're fine until you start trying to make big numbers.
  20. Alright bitches, I'm about to put in for vacation tomorrow. 5-9 OCT I'll make reservations if no one else wants to do it. I say we get the same place we did last time.
