I'm lookin for an awesome tech in Arizona, preferably near Chandler... if anyone knows! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

When I bought the bike the ignition switch was broken. And I can't remember exactly... But im pretty sure it would start with the engine stop/run in either position. Since then I have put a new switch on. But I'm not sure if it can be related or how to check if it is working when I can't even get it started Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

Doesn't sound like it's firing at all Yeah they are FMF pipes. As far as I know these are the only mods. The reeds looked stock. But I haven't had it open at all That is my next step, compression and I'll be building the leak down tester on Saturday. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

It has sat for a few days since this vid... it was the last time it started. I tried to start it the day after this video and nothing. Finally able to get back out and try again today, and till nothing 300 mains 30 pilots k&n pods, 4 inch air screw 1.5 turns clip at 3rd notch 1200 elevation Anywhere from 95-115F This is the jetting kit I used http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Banshee-350-1987-2006-Carb-Kit-6-Jets-2-Needle-Gaskets-NEW-/400576305570?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d443559a2&vxp=mtr New to 2 strokes and carbs, but my cousin who helped explained the needles were aluminum vs the stock brass. We used them Also, there is a little bit of oil under the left carb, looks mostly around the clutch actuator. Is there a seal there that has gone bad? Or do I replace the actuator itself? Please help out!

Update on that Strm Trpr, they are both at 1.5 right now. Going to post another video of some runs on it today after work... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

Lol I can help out with that, it's easy! I'm sure there is an easier way but this is what I do... Use my phone to make video, and upload to Google Drive. Then I put it in my computer Then I use my same Gmail / drive account to upload it to YouTube. I don't have the experience or knowledge yet, but eventually I'll do some more detailed how to videos. Hello all I picked this up a couple months back. To the state it is a 2006 SPCON make and model, Special Construction. I don't care, I bought it to keep and have some fun. And that I have. Rebuilt carbs, finished the TORS delete, changed exhaust clamps and brackets. Did some brakes! New thumb assembly Polished pipes And deleted the air box Doin work! I work for an auto parts company and cars are the norm for me, but I can definitely say I'm hooked. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

My TORS eliminator came with two new caps, so how would switching be attributed to this? Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

Thank you! I'll take your word on that and go with the br8es Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk -
Oil in threads, little bit between washer and seat, around the bottom and ground electrode I haven't ran these long at all Is this a for sure sign that I need to replace head gasket or is this normal to see? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

With the help of my cousin, we got the bike to idle. #30 - pilot jets #290 - main jets -Air Screw Left carb 1.5 turns Right carb 1.75 turns 3 notch down for clip 1200 elevation 2to1 air filter with no lid K&N YA3502 TORS delete / eliminator FMF gold fatty The left side gets a little bit hotter and puts out a little more smoke than the right Overall it sounds good to me but I am new to 2-stroke motors Any experience, advice, pointers that anyone can offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks camatv This is how it turned out... the left side gets a little bit hotter and puts out more smoke than the right Overall it sounds good to me but I'm new to the game and just want it to be fine tuned #30 - pilot jets #290 main jet clip is 3rd notch down -Air Screw Left carb - 1.5 turns Right Carb - 1.75 turns elevation 1200

Nothing else that I know of. I believe they are in correctly. The idle screw opening lines up with the screw, and the "Half moon" faces air box. Currently the lock nut is all the way to the front and the idle screw is set all the way in. Not sure if the picture is good enough.. Does it needs a couple more threads ? Or should I focus on pilot and go down a size? This is my first time jetting. Before this it had 280 mains and I could not read the pilots at all... Would not idle but would run if I kept throttle in it. Both pipes got hot, fairly equally. Left side was a little hotter after a couple minutes... but again I just had to hold the throttle. With the sync tool I just held it up there to see what it was doin...I held throttle steady and left carb was reading like 1 while the right was around 7-7.5. But that was just me trying to act like I knew where I was going heh. Was trying to go ride today but not sure I should like this Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

I have the issue screws all the way in and no idle. But I may be not understanding, do I have to push in thumb throttle and then thread it in a couple more times so screw is under the slide? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
-
They have channels that make them go in the correct way right? In any case, the slide openings at the top were at the back facing the air filter.... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

KoI just got the banshee back together. I'm not exactly sure how to use the sync tool. Can someone give a brief explanation..? I can get it started but it will not idle. Set the air screws at 2 turns out I'm not exactly sure where to start with the idle screw. I just rebuilt the carbs, #30 - pilot jets, #290 main, 1200 elevation (Chandler, AZ), Air box with no lid, YA3502 k&n air filter. I also just deleted tors and installed the eliminator kit, new cable and thumb assembly. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

BUILDER, I just bought a Banshee and it has a boost bottle. Why remove? I've read both 'for' and 'against' but I'd like to know your take. Here's a picture of mine as per thread title. I'll get some others and post after work, this was right when I picked it up. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
