  1. Sweet autocorrect. Cahoot! Lets make that 'cap'.
  2. I noticed one of my cahoots was being held on with a zip tie when i was deleting TORS. Well it was there to keep the cap from vibrating off because the stopper either fell off or was lost on rebuild or something. Anyone have one laying around our know where I can purchase? 3. Im rebuilding my carbs and I noticed this when I was disassembling the float and removing the float valve It doesn't seem to get snagged or catch when moving up and down. I'm just wondering if it should still be replaced... And where I can even fond one if so? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  4. I'm not exactly sure of all mods that have been done. It definitely has a KnN air filter, fmf fatty exhaust, pro tec boost tube. Tors delete. And I am unsure about the jetting. I will be taking it apart soon here. I see some jetting kits online from Dynojet with multiple main jet sizes, like 60 bucks, should I grab one of these? Or is there different brands I should be looking at our different kits? http://m.ebay.com/itm/261445980887 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

  8. I'm in Chandler AZ, starting to get hot. The guy I bought it from said he had the reeds changed and after that is when they started experiencing the idling issue. I've cleaned it a bit, but they obviously just rode and parked, it was very dirty. I'm awaiting some parts. New exhaust brackets and silicone, finish the TORS removal, fix ignition, replace some missing bolts, New KnN air filter. There is a boost tube I noticed. What next? Should I rebuild the carbs or just rejet? And as far as the reeds go, should I just inspect or replace and start from scratch? I guess mostly personal preference. But would like some input. If this is normal maintenance to do when buying used and not to confident about how they took care of it, I'd rather do it to start with.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk

  12. I just bought this. It's a pain in the ass to get started. I'm decently mechanically savvy with cars but I'm new to two stroke. I got this started by pulling choke all the way out and kick starting a few times with a little push of the gas. Any ideas or advice? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  13. I couldn't find much on this oil when searching the interwebz. Kind of answers my question. However, I'm new and am not familiar with mixing... so any help is appreciated. Has anyone here used this stuff? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  14. I referenced that site as well, came up on a general search in Google. He's asking 1250. Really starting to believe it's a 2000 with a newer frame. But I'm still not convinced 100% Not sure what I should to do from here... Any pointers that haven't been touched on that I should keep in mind when I check it out on Saturday? 15. You wouldn't happen to have that number range would ya? Anyone? And thanks for the help, good stuff right there for sure. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  16. Hp2000, I have tried searching around for the color schemes. Do you know how I could validate specifically that red/black/white was only 2000? Thanks for the pointers, definitely the stuff im looking for. If anyone can provide a picture of some of these "new style" connectors that would be awesome...as I have no clue what I'm to be looking for. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  17. As far as stolen goes, he has a title and it's plated and in his name. He's the second owner. He has simply stated that the aftermarket frames don't come with a VIN. The original owner did the work, took it to the DMV and they do a level 3 inspection. Then they slap a Vin on it that matches the title. I was wondering if there are any case numbers on motor or maybe other parts on the quad that I could reference. Maybe I could at the very least narrow down a year range it could be. 18. I am not 100 percent, but I thought in Arizona after 2008 everything had to be plated... I'll have to do more research. Just generally searching for a "special construction" title and I see people talk about new frames that don't have VIN from the manufacturer. But I have never bought one so I can't confirm. 19. I am in the market to buy a quad, specifically a Banshee. I found one in my area that is being called a 2006. It had a fairly low price which alarmed me from the start. I talked to the guy and he has said he's taking a hit on the price because it is a "special construction" title. Finally I got him on the phone. He is the second owner. He won't tell me why the original owner changed the frame as he says he doesn't know. He said it was bought from Yamaha and obviously does not come with a VIN. Hence the title. He is very adamant that it is an 06. I am not sure but it looks to be in good condition, and he's giving me a smoking deal on it. But I'm still wary on pulling the trigger before I can definitely say its a 2006. Please let me know of you can help out. I will be going to look at it Saturday. However, the guy will send me any numbers I ask for prior to traveling to check out out. Thanks AC Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
