    I'm having a problem getting the Bering retainer for the steering stem out I made a tool with a 30mm bolt and heated it with a torch the hit it with an impact driver but it wouldn't budge I need help ASAP thanks

    Hi I'm having a problem with the Bering retainer for the steering stem. I've made a tool to get it out and I've heated it up with a torch then used a impact driver and it still won't come out I need help ASAP thanks

      I just took mine out last night, the Original one from 2001. It wouldnt come out for shit until i soaked it with PB blaster for a couple hours. Then stuck my tool in it and used a big snipe bar and she come loose. Maybe give that a try.

      PB Blaster works wonders.
