OK 1. the niche kit is only $400 2. you can buy the the cylinders by themselves for $300 3. niche/part-discounter is a site sponsor and 4. i didn't want the hjr $300 mx hardcore port i wanted the $250 aggressive trail port 5. just cuz someone sells on eBay doesn't mean its crap in fact drive-line is selling their cylinders kit on eBay too

  3. im planning on getting hjr port job what is the ultra extreme superfantabulous hardcore port set up for like dunes or trails i was planning on getting the aggressive trail port
  4. not everyone on bhq has a shit ton of money to spend so im looking at what is gonna last longer and cost less during a rebuild and on top of that drive line cyls are more for dune and i ride trails

  6. i saw those and i didn't really like them because they are nicasil so if it blows its like 400 to have them sleeved
  7. ya well i figured since my current cylinders are on their last bore this winter im getting niche cylinders and having them ported as well as custom domes so i wanted to do it right this time around
  8. im planning on getting my cylinders ported this winter and i was wondering who does better woods/trail porting for a 4 mil f.a.s.t or hjr i also need pd cool head domes made the cylinders are 64mm and unported
  9. i would have advanced the timing but pretty soon im getting new domes for 155 comp and all i have available is 93 so i cant run both domes and timing
  10. well the fact is that all i did was change the fuel from 93 to 89 and it fixed the problem so dont say that it wouldnt do it because it did
  11. do u still have stock cylinders if so how much would they need bored and are they ported
  12. i had a similar problem and i had about 130 pis comp and was running 93 octane and it ended up being too high of fuel causing it to bog at low end , mid range and a weaker pwr band so i just got some 89 and it helped a lot that might be ur problem try 91
  13. here is the hole im talking about they are common so i have heard but mine leaks air bad so how can i seal it
  14. ok im in the process of a leakdown test and there is a bad leak on the part that the intake screws into it was drilled through like most banshees and it hold no pressure from the leak down test does will air leaks cause a drop in compression and how can i seal the hole to stop it from leaking
  15. i dont know what they were ported for or if they were run with a 4mil i dont even know if they could be ported for a 4mil
  16. i was told that it was electrical so i replaced the stator with a race tech the coil isn't bad either or the problem would follow the plug wire ever since i replaced the stator it seems better but it doesn't seem to have the power it should it is real sluggish until it hits pwr band and the pwr band doesn't seem to be as strong either could it be the port timing because i bought the cyls pre ported off eBay and had them bored i am running a 4mil long rod with a cool head and the spacer plate i want to get some new domes cut and ditch the plate when i get some spare cash

Ok the slides are in the correct way the choke tube is on and secure the float bowls are on the correct carb i just put new plugs in and there is still a missfire on the right side at idle but when i hit the gas the right side shoots extra smoke out the pipe due to the extra fuel sitting in the cyl from the missfire When im riding low and mid rpms its kinda sluggish but when it hits pwrband its better but the pwrband doesnt seem as strong as it should ive synced the carbs just cheked the comp and its 120 in both cyls i dont know whats wrong could this be caused by the stator or is there anything elts that would cause this Thanks for all the help
  18. What will happen if they are swapped and is the bb on the outside of the bowl or inside
  19. whats the difference in the carb bowls i didnt know they were different
  20. slides are in correct way the cant be put in backwards because i have the idle screw so it wont go in backwards if the choke tube was missing it wouldn't be causing this problem would it
  21. Yes they are stock 26mm makunis and ive cleaned them several times just to make sure they are not the problem
  22. i wish i could i dont know anyone in my area that has a shee is there a way to test my stator
