  1. I was there a couple years ago in July and it was cool to ride. not a ton of good dunes but the sand was nice and being able to ride dunes amongst the pine trees was really different compared to glamis. I liked it but not sure if it is worth the long trip to go back there for the small area to ride.
  2. The only problem I ever have in the sand is the bead will sometimes get some sand in between the wheel and it could start to leak a little air over time. other than that; DuneCat said it all 20 years and still kickin it in the sand..
  3. I have a few pair of trailtech polished lights for sale if you are interested
  4. Klots Super Techniplate 2 stroke oil , and Belray Gear Saver Trans. Klots smells really good with Race Fuel...
  5. I put 48 pilot and 155 on my wifes shee with 28mm carbs and she has Paul turner pipes.. I think that may work well for you. we also ride at Glamis...
  6. yes is was the rebound being maxed out on the rear, and that even softened up the front shocks too. My son loves it now.
  7. Took the shee to a shock guy in Gilbert and he got them to work great in about 10 minutes and didn't even charge us any $$$. Very Grateful.
  8. My first video at Glamis on my new banshee.

  9. I have the same problem on my CUB 421 no that I went 2 stroke... I always have my Camelback on me when I go out riding with water and some tools. I got 2 of the 32oz Gatorade bottles full of my fuel to carry in my camelback and now I don't care. I always know that when I run out from kicking their butts, I can put some fuel in and get back to camp and do it all over again..
  10. here is a great website with diagrams and settings. enjoy www.splatshop.co.uk/blog/2012/12/setting-the-float-hieght-on-the-keihin-pwk-28/
  11. Yes, I just put some ASV Holiday shorty's on my wife's Shee and the cable was too long. ASV aslo sent in the box a small spacer to put in the cable holder to accommodate for the length. I had to push in the clutch arm in order to install it because it was too tight buit then mad my adjustments on the lever up top. works great now..
  12. Klots @ 16oz to 5 gl of 110 race fuel and it smells like perfume !!!!
  13. I just got another banshee with duncan motor and PT high rev pips with fat boy silencers and the end cap points to the ground... this is really quiet, can I modify this somehow and make it louder like the T5's are.... ? What about cutting the end cap off where it curves down to ground will that help? thx Frank
  14. I just got this banshee with Elka shocks with remote reservoir and they are super stiff. I loosened the preload rings all the way and adjusted the dampener to soft, and still super stiff. The old owner said it was adjusted for a 225 lb person, i am 205 and the quad does not budge when i sit on it or try to compress the shocks. Could they have put too much nitrogen in the reservoir??? My other banshee with same shocks is super plush. thx for the advise. Frank
