  1. hey guys new to this forum because im in need of some help. for about 4 years now i have always ran 91 octane fuel at 40:1 in my banshee. as far as i know (what the previous owner brefly explained when i purchased the quad) my banshee was bored out to a 405cc and everything to my knowledge was left stock. i have no idea on jetting but the heads, carbs, reeds etc were all left stock. the quad has always been reliable and FAST. recently i wanted to try to get a little bit of edge racing in the sand and tested out the VP 110 racing fuel at 40:1 however by the time i got to competition hill my quad didnt seem like it was making full power. i could usually race up the hill in 4th and now struggle and find myself clutching it in first just to try to stay on the powerband. also i usually start my races out in second gear and the quad launches hard no problem, now i struggles in first. I have an all around power loss and dont know if i fouled something, plugged something, or possibly let the motor go. immedietly thinking it was the fuel, i drained the gas tank and swapped spark plugs out but i never got my power back. anybody know why this is happening or a possible fix? does this have anything to do with not knowing my compression or jetting sizes? wheres a good place to start?
  2. Hey guys, I've been wondering how exactly how domes for Coolhead or any head that use changeable domes work. Such as like what cc number domes do what, what octane should be ran with what domes and how to even add octane to pump gas from a station??? Ik I'm frecking noob but hey everyone start somewhere right? If possible detailed answers and examples please, thanks to all!
  3. hello i just bought a banshee tonight and im new to everything. i wanted to do a complete fluid change on the entire quad and i mean every fluid. if somebody could please fill me in on all the types of fluids on the quad, and what brands and types are the best to use. i also wanted to know which mixing ratio was the best to use for my gas, and which 2 stroke oil is best to mix with my gas.
  4. Hey guys , just wanted to get your opinions on what kind of fuel (like what gas station and fuel grade I should use) and oil I should use in my banshee? I live on the oregon coast so I will be doing only dune an beach riding. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Banshee is all stock, just full fmf fatty exhaust and kn filter without lid for engine mods.
  5. I have 2 sets of 34 pj carbs for sale. One set is on my bike and running right now. There is nothing wrong with them they work great I am just going to different carbs. I will take 225.00 shipped for them. I will jet them to whatever you are wanting for jets before I ship them or can ship with no jets for a few bucks less up to you. I will get pictures up tonight. Second set I bought and have not messed with and I know nothing about them. The guy I got them from said the floats leaked and I have never bothered to mess with them they have just laid in my cabinet. I will take 125.00 shipped on them but I am saying they are being sold as parts carbs just so we are clear that I know nothing about them. You may clean them up and they work fine I have no idea.
