  1. I just started tapping the holes out to 1/4 pipe thread and running brass pipe plugs with Teflon tape I got tired of messing with the cp supplied plugs seems even with locktite they seap after a couple seasons.
  2. I wish someone would have told me how bad the water jacket plugs are, I had my new engine all bolted in before I realized they didn't seal the first time, tried sealer of all kinds, couldn't get them to hold coolant for the life of me! 3rd times a charm... I guess, lmao!
  3. Have you built a cub cylinder engine before?
  4. .020" will change port timing 2-3 degrees, my 10mil cub that I just built was @200 degrees on the main exhaust port with a .020" base gasket! 197 degrees without a gasket. I glued the cylinders directly to the cases with yamabond 1211 and had domes cut for .050" squish. 197 exhaust 130 transfer, runs hard but I only have about 10 hours on it so far and after asking around this an acceptable method for sealing cylinders and cases.
  5. I'm interested in price and availability on a +8 straight ladder bar style but your website appears to be broken
  6. I'm a fan of the 7mm stock cyl, total sleeper and 100+ hp easy. My next build will be 7mil stock cyl.
  7. No idea man, never ran an airbox on a banshee and never will.
  8. That's tough to say but 300 to 340 sounds about right on the main, I would go up to 30 on the pilot and dial the air screws in from there. But I knowa at 125psi your not making enough cylinder pressure to get a complete burn on race fuel. Switch your fuel and go from there. It's going to run alot better on the correct fuel.
  9. Not enough compression to burn 110, 125 psi is way too low to burn race fuel. Drain the tank, put some 92 premium pump in it and I bet you your problem goes right away.
  10. I should have elaborated, you can put more than 7mil in stock cylinders but 7 is the most you can go without sleeving or spacer plate 7mil with stock base gaskets will leave 3.5mm of the crown out of the bore and put the top ring at deck height. They're badass sleeper engines, I've been wanting to build one for a while but I need to find another shee to build first.
  11. My shop isn't even in a yard... it's in my freakin' dining room of my 3rd story apartment!!! Bahahaha! Soooooo, can I be a site sponsor? Pleaseeeeeeee???
  12. 7mil is the most stroke you can put in stock cylinders without sleeving them, the cases do require trenching fo anything over 4mil stroke. Eric built a 7mil stock cyl for a friend of mine that would eat 4mil cubs for breakfast!
  13. Not trying to thread jack but has anyone tried the renthal twin ring sprockets, aluminum center, steel chain teeth?
  14. Is this the ring, glass, o-ring to convert your stock cover to a lockup cover or just the little decorative piece on the outside?
  15. Have you heard of redline racing? There's this guy named cam, you should talk to him... I'm just sayin'...
  16. That last post was aimed at john, not the "maniac"
  17. ^^^^^ I like this guy! REAL FACTS! not "hear say"
  18. That's awesome! Lead is such a great lubricant, I wish you could still buy leaded fuel at the pump.
  19. Thanks colby, I'm actually trying to learn about this fuel as much as I can from the people on here who have experience with running it in a banshee. I wish people would leave the b.s. name calling at home! So that said, what other colors or grades are there and what do the colors represent?
  20. What is the "green grade" and what other grades are there? I thought 100ll was the grade?
