    Don't saw shit off. Why are you trying to remove it with carbs still on? Take your carbs off, slide your wiring out of the clips on airbox. Shove it forward pull it out. At the end of day, throw it away. Switch to pods. Way easier, and a hell of a lot better looking as well. Will need to rejet again though.

    A little bit of movement will probably affect it more then you think. What size is your spacer plate? I have a brand new gasket style one you can have.

    Oven trick, and some pb blaster we got them..well he did I watched. No go with machine shops in my area. Dealership will not sell a insert. Heli coil will be at Napa at 7am. Some red Loctite see how she holds up.

    Any tips, or advise on removing studs. Only a few shops around, and one I can't go to the other few shit shops are backed up so they say. One hole is stripped. When I sold this top end to my brother he had it heli coiled, and it didn't hold.

    If I'm reading this right, I think your carbs are over flowing. There's a hole in the cases for a drain. Gas evaporates, and oil is left behind. Is there ever a puddle of oil under it after riding, and letting it sit?
