There is no way around it, the 2 stroke is a marked "man" and close to being obsolite. I hate the idea, because it is due to people being just plain DUMB. I read at one time how 2 stroke engine account for .0004% of total engines world wide and how they use like .0000043% of the worlds fuels. I dont know the numbers for sure, but it was REALLY low. The thing of course that gets them in such trouble and such a bad rap, is they have visible smoke coming out. Big deal, I know, but Mr & Mrs uninformed tree hugger are dumb enough to say they are evil because the smoke can be seen pouring outta the two stroke, but not their 5mpg suburban. Since the Banshee is going to be discontinued. Its gonna be swwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeetttt to have it go out with a BANG...not just a 500cc, but optional oil injection, and reverse too. Go to school to learn how to weld, and be a good welder...My advice though, DO NOT plan it as a career or get sucked into it as a career. Sure its good honest work, and youll be able to live off of it, but its HOT dirty work most of the times. Once you do it for a living, youll hate it for a hobby. My dad is a welder and has been for almsot 40 years. I was working in a manufacturing plant and I told him I was thinking about going into the welding department, and he told me NO NO DONT DO IT!!!! I do alot of welding at home, 99% of it on my racecar, but Im sure if I was a welder by trade, I wouldnt "enjoy" it so much... The welders in my area make $8-$15 hr....Not really worth the 2 years of college and withstanding all the heat, dirt, noise and shitty conditions. I make as much as my dad sitting on my ass driving truck...and I didnt spend a penny on college to drive that ugly truck.... food for thought....just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

My dad has a dodge 3/4 ton with the six speed. nice truck, rides like a lumber wagon, but pulls the 38 foot 4 horse with living quaters gooseneck NICE. more then enough power for what he needs it for. Takes of fully loaded in 3rd or 4th gear..... Another guy I know has a Ford with the 6 liter, but an auto. Pulls his 40 foot 5th wheel camper really good, and rides a little better then the dodge. All of the new ones are nice, all have been having injector problems, but you might luck out and not have any. Im not sure why, or what causes it, but I have heard of all three of the major manufaturer diesels having injector problems....

You know us "old school" guys, ones who have been riding these two strokes for the better part of two decades.......60-1, 80-1 or anything like that just seems SCARY and wrong. Its hard for me to change, I dont like change, but its the new millenium and technology with oil has come along way. I know some of these oils are REALLY good, and you guys swear by it, but I could go buy some, go to mix it and think to myself "dayuum, it needs more oil then that! lol Old habits, beliefs and the melt down parinoia is HARD to break....someday, I might change. lmao Is there really a power differnce with using that oil too? heres my reasons to use the oil I have used for a LONG time... 1...its readily available at all the gas stations we stop at along the trails 2... its really good and not very spendy 3...Ive used it for 10-15 year in all my stuff - bikes, chainsaws, snowmobiles, lawnmowers, weedwackers you name it (my sled has almost 10,000 miles on it now) 4...Im old school....I gotta mix 32-1....LOL

Ive seen them tucked up really tight under the hood.....find the heater (in a soft plug) and TRY to follow the cord. Im not sure if thats possible though. If they didnt install it, and you paid for it, I would say a huge hissy fit is in order. Try this morning, I got up to go to work at about 8 am, and it was -27 degree's with -38 windchill...........I waited till after 2 pm to go, it warmed up to a whole -16 degrees! My truck (1996 Ford j-9000) has an n-14 cummins, and it was a bit slow to start!! LOL

After this latest format was available we all had to rejoin....I remember quit clearly how shocked I was when I went to sign back up and was the 2,000th or so memember to sign on. The joined number has nothing to do with anything, there was a TON of people signing on all at one time. If I remember, it came up as the new format kind of early in the morning, and I joined about noon that day, and got a really high number..... me and a few other "old fockers" should have the lowest, but not the quickest numbers....LOL 4658!!!!!!!!!! holy crapola!!!!!
