  1. I may be way off base but it sounds to me as it never really fouled out a plug it was just such a lean condition that it wasn't firing and when he richened it up it ran ok. I would also make sure pilot isn't plugged and main is in place and not plugged
  2. Sounds like you need to do the leak down test just to rule out sir leaks

  5. I ended up switching the plugs sorry forgot to post that
  6. I did check them boot to boot also then checked them wire to wire also. I did check the primary spade to spade and it came out to .4 ohms so I assume that's ok. It calls out .26 - .38. I think
  7. When testing my coils secondary circuit I was testing it with the black lead on the negative terminal and the red on the plug cap then removed cap and checked just wire to terminal. After that I removed the wire and tested terminal to prong that stabs into the plus wire and never got any secondary reading at all. According to the manual I tested it correctly. Can someone verify if Missed something??? I was getting random fire. It wouldn't fire every time I kicked it.
  8. That will work fine. The point of the tors eliminator is to get rid of the bulky caps and wires

  18. Anyone have any experience with the harbor freight compression tester? I know you generally get what you pay for but was just wondering if they work ok
  19. Another thing. Never use starting fluid on a two stroke. It will kill it.
  20. You can order a tors delete which generally consist of new carb caps with cable and idle screws and a drill bit and tap to tap out idle screw holes. It's not hard to do. There is a post on here somewhere with step by step directions and pictures to follow along with Disregard this post then lol
