Why are you runnin high gear low rpm pulls? Its prolly tryin to get on the pipe and you are not allowing it to. Drop a gear and get on that throttle is my advice.

Head back on passed leakdown and sounding good now just need some time for plug chops to dial it in

Stock gearing 14/41

Wife decided she finally wanted a banshee so i find her one not to far away. Definatly not the best looking but did come with some bonus parts. It an 01 was originally blue but plasics have been painted black which will be repainted. Has stock carbs, fmf fattys, cool head, amadillo a arms, durablue axle, and even got a new set of sandstars on polished wheels with it. Now the fun begins of goin through this thing and making it all legit. I say this due to when i rode it i knew right away tuning was a must ( ran like shit) and had some play in front end and rear axle. I get this home and start really checking it over and find all the ball joints were never tightened and neither were the a arm bolts or tie rods lol. Tightened all that up and good as new then replaced carrier with a good one i had and rear is all tight now. Pulled carbs and gave them a deep cleaning finding 310 mains and 25 pilots seems a lil rich on main but ill dial that in later. Put carbs back on and it fires right up sounds 100% better so i go for a short rip and pull back in the yard to find antifreeze blowing out of oveflow so look into it and find cool head is leaking. So i pull it apart and find one of the most stupid things, whoever put the head on didnt put orings on the domes and they also put a stock steel gasket between head and cylinders. Its no wonder it didn't seal and the domes also had the oring lip partially broken off. Oh well i guess lol time for a lil project, i will definatly have a nice lil stock bike when im done just gotta fix it all up right. Heres the before and ill post more as i go along. Ok ive started lookin for a shee for the wife. Found a 98 that looks good and decent price but the guy said 2nd gear slips but not in 3rd and up. Thats whats got me wondering cause ive never come across slippage in just one gear. And he said its not poppin out of gear so im thinkin clutch but if thats the case wouldnt it slip in higher gears as well? Whats your thoughts?

Did you hold throttle wide open while kicking it You wont get accurate readings unless you holed wide open
