I guess i can call my dealer and get some. they're gonna be expensive though
-
Oh really. Well thats all i need.
-
Looking for a set of front right and left upper and lower a arms. Have +1 now and the upper and lower ball joints are worn out. Any cheaper suggestions to fix would be helpful.
-
My tie rod ends have some play in them. My question is, do i need a specific measurement or can i just buy any of them?
-
Awesome. They had a little play in the wheels from side to side and knew that was the tie rods. I actually didn't check the upper and lower ball joints. I actually didn't know they couldn't be replaced. Thanks for the heads up.
-
Need some for a replacement. My handlebars and wheels have a lot of play in them. Also, need some AM upper and lower A-arm ball joints. Need some for under 50 if possible.

Yeah but the more i get in depth with this thing the more i find i need to fix. Mechanically, the quad is a beast. It will fly. Its just the halfassed job the guy did cosmetically that pisses me off, especially swapping the plastics.

I am looking for a set of the stock twin mikuni carburetors. I have a 38 mm Stage V 2-in-1 Carb on it now. I absolutely hate this thing and would be willing to trade. If no trade, then I'll take any under $200. Thanks

Let me explain, i just bought a 03 banshee from a guy who didn't exactly take care of it. Engine runs fantastic, but cosmetically, it looks horrible. The foot peg bolt holes have been completely de-threaded and ruined thanks to his half-assed effort in putting on the nerd bars. The air box lid was removed and the rear coolant reservoir is zip-tied down. There a few other half assed rigs as well. What i was thinking doing, is buying a full bare frame and swap over everything from this one. I found a website with all of the OEM bolts and such, but i was wondering if it worth doing it. If anyone has ever done this, let me know how the experience worked. Thanks.

Probably, this guy was a freakin idiot. I just ran all of the gas all the way out so, when I mix a new batch, Ill be able to tell
-
I don't know. I just bought this thing Friday and its a tad smoky. And it doesn't have that 2stroke smell. Im about to go run all the gas out and mix up some new.
-
My quad is putting out a little too much smoke. Also, it doesn't smell like a 2 stroke but more like burning oil and fuel, almost like a car with bad rings or head gasket. Any ideas?

Banshee Experts: Reed valves?
RACxEMxWILLIE replied to RACxEMxWILLIE's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
Yeah i wanted to rip it off. But i need to find the twins first. The quad still has the tors i think and the stock air box with the 2-1 conversion kit. -
I have a question for all you Banshee experts: I recently purchased a 03 Banshee that had the stock 26mm twin mikuni carbs replaced with a single Keihin Stage V carburetor. My question is, did that come with the reed valves or would i have to put them on myself. Also, could someone recommend a set of reed valves. The quad has not been bored or stroked or any other motor mod done. Would the reeds be worth it or no? Second question: Should I take this single carb off and go back to the twin mikunis or leave it on? Another one I rode with the twins felt like it had more top end than this one? Ive heard having a single carb would rob you of top end to give you more on the bottom end.

$40 total with shipping? Where are you shipping it from? Also, how do I pay you, I'm new to this site.

Just recently purchased a banshee and dude messed up the air box. It's missing the top and the rear coolant tank is zip tied down. It's busch league engineered. Looking for one under $40. Thanks guys!

Looking for a OEM Blue Banshee plastic. About to buy a 03 Banshee with a raptor clip on it. It's ugly as shit and doesn't feel like a true Banshee!
-
Heres a new one. Give me your opinion: I have an 04 yamaha banshee for sale in good condion but it will need jetting right i cant get it rite. the atv is bored 30 over with v-force 2 reeds,kn filters, fuel pump,t5 pipes, beadlock wheels, led lights, timeing advanced 4 degrees .Also ported n polished . It will need rear tires. ($1400)

How much for the blue plastics?
-
Yeah i don't know why all the prices are so damn high. But this quad looks very clean. Honestly i don't have the compression tool to check it. But these m-effers are getting scarce in GA thats why i was thinking that in the 2-3k price range was decent. Im now honestly leaning toward the shee with the raptor clip even though its ugly as hell.
-
Just found another one that is 2800 and has "a fresh rebuilt top end and bored .30 over. There are a few mods on this ATV including and orange powder coated frame, upgraded suspension (adjustable upper and lower control arms), upgraded axle (lonestar), good tires and no to mention it is VERY FAST and will start on the FIRST KICK!!!! I don't want to get rid of it but my wife complains about it taking up garage space." This is straight from his post about his quad. Im thinking either this one or the one with the raptor body. Also, how much does an OEM banshee plastic kit usually run at?
-
Well I'm negotiating down to 1500. Plus the Banshee is getting really hard to find and everyone that i have found is either just been sold or does not even reply. I live in Georgia so i figured there would be plenty but they are legitimately hard to find. I just found one that for 1900 that has a raptor body on it for some reason and was just freshly rebuilt but i don't want to get it because of the body. But if anyone can maybe give me an idea of what the problem is would be helpful. Thanks

I also forgot to add, he said a wire was removed and this is what caused all this trouble.
