in my experience 100ll does not run dirty. unless i misunderstood the gas company that sells it, it is illegal for on highway usage because it does not have road taxes added. so offroad vehicles should be fine. i dont know about the weight and balances, but when jetted correctly it runs great.

why would he cut springs and effectively lower his base pressure? im just asking as it sounds like sudden lockup of the clutch is the problem. im guessing that lowering base pressure will allow the clutch to slip a few more feet before locking up and maybe that will have the bike moving fast enough to keep from hazing the tires? . it sound like he may have too much weight on the arms. would staggering the weight help?

the few backwoods atv races i have been to the only safety gear required is a helmet. what all safety rules are you guys wanting to see put in place? imo it would help alot if we all practice what we are preaching even when were at the dunes.

i run the knock offs on my 421 cub. hjr told me to switch to k&n but i never did, will be putting in k&n's this year. someone told me once some knock offs are 4 ply and some are 8 ply but i have no idea if there is any truth to that.
