a few builders are taking the wsm apart, installing good bearings, true and weld, and they seem to hold up very well.

After you do all that add some Damn timing. It'll help a bunch. Just remember more timing needs more fuel.

172 main on 33's is huge. my old 4mm cub with 34 pjs liked a low 150 main.

The lower number plugs like br8es or b8es show heat easier than higher number b9 or b10 so I Tune it in on those and once it pulls clean I throw in br9eix at box gap. If you're combo is really high compression or making too much heat a 10 will work better.

the carbs on mine are .122 main and dump egm needle .096 pj 60 pilot.

I'm using 76ro 14pdl on mine this year. It's in a yfz chassis 2 forward 14 over arm. Last year at 225 lbs the 16s were too much tire.

Just screw a brass fitting into whatever radiator you decide to use. -
when i said 60 grams thats only the weights. not the bolt, nut and weight. 60 grams as in 1 10 gram weight on each arm. add around another 10 grams of weight on each arm for the nut and bolt.

3 stock 3 stiff 60 grams of weight. i imagine you could use less weight but with a 18dm,alky, oof, 76+ro extremes and 225lb rider mine has never slipped.

interesting thread really. stock cases dont seem to hold up to a dmx. herek, a snowmobile guy from what i understand ported the record holding dmx. k&t doesnt do trans(supposedly), and last but not least bennet is doing some touch up porting his own way. all things that make you go hhmmmmm.
