Carbs are junk.... There is a ridge so bad just off idle on the main body from wear that the slides have almost 1/8 of an inch free play. The sides are not worn just the main body. It causes such a big air leak the idle is through the roof. He claims he knows nothing about the carbs because the dyno shop set them up and they worked great. Bottom line they are not as described and worn out.

I can do a partial trade cool head that I have for those BBshearer IF pipes you got?

What I have done is replace the hard billet front pipe mount i had with the rubber mount which does two things: it spaces the pipe out further to begin with and it allows much more movement(rubberm ount) when the bolts are tight. I haven not tried moving the rear silencer mount out from the frame any more than the billet hard mount i have on it. i will try that first thing tonight but will need to find longer bolts to fit washers? behind the silencer flange.

never tried the fmfs but even with the sheares I had to rotate the clutch side carb maybe 2-4 degrees and it runs great. but 45 degrees looks a little radical and from what i know about carbs they might not even work at that angle. the intakes I have on this set up have no reed spacers and are billet one piece with cross over inside from wicked I think.

Maybe my searching is not as good as some on this site but I have looked through this site and the general internet but I cannot find if anyone is running T-5 pipes with TM34 mikuni carbs. I have a serious fit problem on at least the clutch side carb contacting the pipe to the point where I will not be able to install the carb(unless I rotate it almost 45 degrees). The stator side carb installs ok with a close fit but nothing too bad. I will upload pic tonight. Has anyone ever run Mikuni TM-34 with T5 Pipes? Lets see some pictures if you have. The TM-34 were a close fit with my shearer SB IF pipes but they worked with no fit problems.

I have a set of T-5 or a set of T-6 with silencers to trade for shearer pipes. I would like the Shearers to be in good condition, do not need to be show quality. The T-5 and T-6 pipes are in good shape but not show quality. I can try and get a pic of the pipes up tonight. Let me know who has any so we start talking details

Since these do not seem to be very availble, how about ANY pair of paddle tires that can handle a little dirt and stones without ripping apart? Looking to fit on stock rear rim size. 20 or 22 inch diameter that can handle a 421 or a 465,not for official racing just fun.
